RBC Royal Bank

As soon as I walked in there was an advisor yelling at a customer for not understanding the process of unlocking a card. When the next available advisor called me up she was rude off the jump, she dismissed my questions and couldn’t even “assist me” in updating my name that was incorrect by their mistake in the first place. When I asked to book an appointment with a business advisor she told me to write a letter and I explained to her that the advisor who is assisting my business hasn’t responded to any of my emails, he response to that was “I can’t do anything about that” THE WORST BANK EXPERIENCE EVER

So let's start off with RBC offering me a credit card. I needed a travel card work lounge access and went to pick up my card at the Bronte location. I was told by 2 different branch employees that the card had lounge access. 1 month later I try to get into the lounge and if course it doesn't have access. Poorly trained staff not knowing their own products but I still keep the card. 2 weeks later I go to the location at Heartland. I tell them I want to close off my car loan with Tesla. They give me a total of 7k and change, I pay it and leave. One week later RBC is bombing my phone demanding payment. I received I'vup to 3 calls a day Saying I owe money. Letters in the mail with different amounts owing. Still harassing phone calls continue and I go back to the Bronte location and try to clear up this missed payments and why i had 3 letters with 2 different amounts owing. Letters from the Heartland branch was more then the letters from RBC corporate. Surprisingly, the highly trained and knowledgeable staff could not figure out and went to talk to branch manager Sherril Wright. She storms out of her office, tells at me Saying I missed a payment without even hearing the back story and storms back into her office. A very seagull like management technique, Flys away from the nest, craps on everyone and everything, then flies back to the nest. Needless to say, I just pay the fee, cleared up my balance on my credit card and canceled it on January 11th. Today February 28th, just received a letter saying I owe $11.29 to for a charge on the 18th. 7 days after I canceled thecard. RBC DO BETTER, BE BETTER! Ridiculous.

The teller was new (Harook) handled my transaction well, my credit card had been compromised after explaining to the manager what happened she had Harook call RBC security so I wouldn't have to sit on hold again for hours. Very nice people to deal with and it is always nicer to deal with people than automated attendants

Heartland rbc is very slow when all other banks are fast and employee more tellers for weekends as weekends is the busy day when people actually get to get there shot done. Plus there hours of service is short compared to other banks. While I stand in line I see 2 people where we're told to wait and then that person never came back to help the people sigh the paper.

I have been doing banking with this branch for last 13 years but lately the service has gone down the drain. I like rbc in general but this branch definitely needs improving their customer service and they need definitely experience tellers and experience people for customer service.

This branch is nowhere upto the standards of nearby banks in heartland. I don’t want to give even 1 star because their service is so pathetic. They made me to visit their branch twice just to get the debit card and both the instance they never mailed the card. Later I found they never performed the request when I connected with the phone support agent. I have placed the request for the 3rd time over the phone support this time. Let’s see whether I get my card.Technology is going crazily in banking industry and still RBC is issuing hand written temp cards to clients. I feel this itself not setting the security standards in banking experience for their clients.The RBC branch at heartland location seems like an old building with out proper maintenance, it doesn’t have a look and feel. It’s so horrible!

Very bad service teller one of girl cover always head also one guy both are always same I think both are not deserving on job .

I visited the branch on Saturday (18 Mar) morning and was served by a pleasant young lady in a hijab, named Shameen ( excuse me if the name is incorrect). She looked in to my issue, and briefly asked her colleague how this should be done, and the colleague very quickly said that they cannot process the request in the branch and that the customer should call instead. However , Shameen did not take that advise and checked with her Manager Three times, no less, to make sure that my request was processed to completion and to my satisfaction. I would like to commend this young lady on her exemplary customer service. Thank You!!!

Worst branch, Teller were talking in Native language specially the person who’s last name is (MEHTA) was laughing and making fun of the customers. This locations needs to hire more professional and educated staff.
