Chilliwack River Provincial Park
Great trail for the whole family. Not very long but for the more adventurous there are some side trails.

Chilliwack River Provincial Park
Lovely place really close to home, great for fishing, although you can fish basically anywhere near Chilliwack Lake Rd. Really nice spots for sitting and chatting, or cooling down when it's 30 degrees out!

A great place to hike around, or to wet your fishing line. Just be for sure that you know what fish are in season and what the limits are

Chilliwack River Provincial Park
It's a small park but they have rehabilitated an old salmon spawning stream putting it back to what it was before we humans put our footprint on it. It has very refreshing easy to walk hiking trails through the forest and sign boards explaining different highlights along the way.

First off when u enter Chilliwack river provincial park in your gps it wont take u there. Instead it takes u to Thompson Park parking area which is way before Chilliwack river provincial park. So Google maps need to correct it.As for the park, I just went there today with my better half. It was covered in snow all over. Have to park at the entrance. From there it a trek in snow for about 25 min or so. You can expect to find a lot of people on your way down or up. When u reach the lake its worth making the trek. Some people were doing bon fires....others had chairs and were just laying around chit chatting...2 guys were canoeing too.....it was a little here and there kind-of activity going on all around. Not many people stayed at the lake for more than 30 min or so. The reason being its cold by the lake. Water is cold too as its a glacier fed lake.and there is nothing much to do apart from standing there chit chatting and admiring the surroundings.I am not sure if this place is busy during proper summer time. And if anything special happens here. Its a one time visit....for sure. But if you live in Vancouver or further you got much much better options.

Chipmunk Creek ATV riding was great but alot of heights involved and not particularly wide paths. But there are several at the base that are at ground level and the river/rapids stretch a great length next to the trails and there is even a small spot where it 'looks like' u could take your machine across the creek...we will be testing that out the next time we go back! Beautiful views everywhere you go

Awesome scenery....right by the river, obviously....BUT POT HOLES galore. Taking a Toyota Matrix was no fun. Time to sell this car for a 4x4
