Coast Appliances - Coquitlam

Our first experience with coast appliances and definitely our last. We ordered a dishwasher January of 2022 and were told it could be a 2-3 month wait in which we were okay with. Fast forward to now almost a year later with countless emails back and forth, we still don't have our dishwasher. Instead we are getting a different dishwasher that they offered to us since the original is delayed even further to March 2023. I also forgot to mention that on top of all this hassle, the salesperson ordered the wrong original dishwasher.Fast forward to now, we have now paid the full price of the dishwasher as of last week and have a scheduled delivery date for tomorrow. Nobody is answering their phone to let us know the delivery time and nobody has called us ahead for a specific delivery time (like every other company does when they deliver a large appliance). So I guess we will be waiting all day tomorrow in hopes for our dishwasher delivery. What a waste of our time. I will update this post if we don't receive it tomorrow (our scheduled delivery date).Edit: no delivery came, no returned phone calls, and no returned emails from earlier in the week during their scheduled hours.. but they made sure they got their money from us before the holidays while leaving us without the appliance we paid in full for.

Absolutely not a company I recommend that you purchase your appliances from. They post purchase service is the worst among all the other companies such as trail appliances.I Purchase 23k worth of appliances in 2021, received them in Nov 2022 installed Dec 2022, right of the bat, fridge approx 4K was not getting cold. Reported the problem to them, they would not refund it or exchange and forced me to contact the manufacturer for warranty, it is now April 2023, fridge has not been fixed, coast appliances won’t replace the defective fridge. They won’t refund my money, they don’t try to get new fridge from the manufacturer. Instead they send a a company to come and have a look who after pulling the fridge back and forward has managed to damage my hardwood floors.On top of it, they email and you can’t call them back and they don’t respond quickly toInquiry. They say they will call back and nothing. Because they dont want people calling them, and when I tried toContact the manager if this specific shopIn Coquitlam, he was rude, condescending and basically told me, once they sell the product, anything after it is not they problem. And then he stated I don’t care if you sue the company or you go toMedia. The company don’t care.And this is the customer service they provide.So don’t buy from Them. Their post purchase service is not there

Would have given it five stars what we had to actually approach the people in the back rooms wandered around the store for a little bit. Delivery crew is amazing excellent selection. Highly recommend you coming in window shop that any new appliances you may be thinking about getting the stuff here was amazingly helpful in helping us decide. Definitely will consider coming back in the future that's for sure.

Samira was great from start to finish. We had an issue with our dryer and she replied promptly and got everything sorted out quickly. Would highly recommend.

I was met by Alex Alina sales associate who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping me select the best fridge and gas stove that met my needs and pocket book. Alex was able to explain the pros and cons of each unit shown. I never felt any pressure by Alex. I would highly recommend Alex as a sales associate.

Highly recommend Alex. He has been so helpful we have gone back 3 times to purchase appliances. Knowledgeable about products, gives good advice and follows up to keep us informed.

Extremely helpful, purchased an oven 9months ago and only just installing due to renovation delay. Was missing a part to connect the gas line.No quibbles, the manager got me the part and I was on my way.Much appreciated!!

Our experience with Coast Appliances, and particularly Alex Alinia, was great. He was very quick to offer competitive pricing, knew the products and was available and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend shopping here and with Alex.

Samira was very helpful and listened to my requirements. Ended up with a good deal on a Maytag dryer. She was great to work with.Coast's delivery team was excellent. They used runners to protect our carpeting and were very careful maneuvering the unit through our house. I'd definitely purchase my next appliance from them.

Very impressed with the customer service. My call was answered immediately by a real and friendly person when I phoned the store and I was given helpful and accurate info. When they didn’t have the part I was looking for in stock, they directed me to call a parts store that was closest to my home. I really appreciate the excellent help.
