StoneHaven Kennels

I have never left my dogs in a kennel before and was extremely apprehensive about doing so. I looked at several different ones around and read every review on all of them. We did “interview “ a couple but ultimately decided that Stonehaven Kennels had much the same philosophy about dogs as we did. I did not go to drop them off as I knew I would be an emotional wreck but my husband says the experience was very positive and the dogs reacted well. I waited a couple days before I reached out to ask them how my boys were and they responded very quickly which eased my mind greatly. The next day they posted pictures of them on the Stonehaven Facebook page, and I could see from my boys’ body language that they were happy. When we picked them up at the end of their stay they were just as happy to see the ladies up front as they were to see us. I would definitely use Stonehaven again and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

The first time I went there I was impressed that they took me right back and showed me the facility as most other kennels require advanced notice for that. The next thing that impressed me is when I told them my fetch obsessed dog can get angry at other dogs if they play fetch with him, they immediately offered to spend one on one time with him. It is a well designed facility and very accommodating for any kind of dog. The staff are great and it is very apparent how much they love our pets. Close to the city and flexible hours. This is a great kennel.

Just had our 2 dogs stay here for 10 days. They were great at giving us updates when we asked and our dogs seemed comfortable and happy when we picked them up. This was our second time using stone haven and we would definitely use them again! Great service!

Best experience I've ever had for my dog! My dog is 8 and I travel often so my dog has been to a few kennels. This place truly seems to love dogs. The small dogs play most of the day and then they all sleep together. I love that my dog isn't alone at night in a cage. My dogs is happy and healthy here!

Great place for a doggie vacation! I love the photos on facebookb of the dogs all playing together and when i see my dog having such a good time running and playing with other dogs it helps me relax more on my vacation!!I also use the daycare option for my dog on busy work days when I can't get home at lunch to let him out! He plays all day and sleeps all night!!!I highly recommend Stonehaven Kennels!!Thank you Cheryl and Gwen!!

My two doodles spent the weekend at Stonehaven and I couldn't have been more pleased on how well they were cared for, and that both pups had multiple daily off leash walks and plays with other dogs. Thank you for taking such excellent care of my fur-babies. ❤️

Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent care. Special thanks to the caregiver as her personality really shows through as a caring unique person, the information she forwarded in regards to our animals truly shows she cares.We felt so bad about the fight they had, there has only been 3 or 4 fights in 4 years so we were surprised however after 6 days even we were getting on each other’s nerves in the hotel room.The receptionist we dealt with was probably our only negative experience as we felt lectured on the lack of eating and our dogs scrap with each other on their walk. As the first time we’ve boarded them all we were unaware of the tricks to get them to eat or act. So again our apologies on the fight and food struggles.Thanks again, until next time!

They are great! I feel like they get to know my dog and spend a lot of time ensuring she is socialized. She has been at 2 kennels now. And unlike the other she was clearly excited to be there at drop off and made sure she said goodbye to the staff at pick up.

Nice people who know how to treat the animals. I will definitely use them again when I need a kennel service. My dog was happy, well cared for, and respected the same as if she was at home. The owner(s) know their stuff and I will trust them with my dog again.
