Opus Art Supplies

I normally like Opus for their wide inventory, but this time, one item was completely out of stock even though the website indicated that it was in stock. Like any other place, low inventory means no inventory or one means none. A few calls and the product was located & purchased in another branch.

Posca acrylic paint pens! I can't say enough about them! As a woodcarver, some of my carvings are intricate. I paint them after carving, and the space I need to fill can be smaller than the smallest brush I have. Posca paint pens let me get that fine detail in there without having to touch up overpaint. Opus Langley has a great selection, and were very helpful! Go see them when you need paint pens or anything else for your next project!

I was stuck looking for a specific frame stapler. Opus staff was helpful and even helped me by showing me how to use it.

The shelves are empty at the moment, so they didn't have some basic supplies in. The always helpful staff assured me that it was due to their warehouse moving. Once stock is available again, this will be 5 stars!

This is an excellent store. It is very well stocked and you can find pretty much anything you need. If you can't (rare), they will will order it in for you. Plus, staff are friendly and cheerful. They are happy to discuss your art projects with the customer, which makes us feel quite welcome. And they give good advice and help locate odd items. If any people in these comments have been a bit harsh in that shelves / items need to be watched, they should perhaps reconsider and be a bit kind. Some of the people in the neighborhood of the store can be untoward, so I totally get that they need to keep an eye out for shoplifters. Personally, I have never felt intimidated by watchful staff, or really ever felt it or noticed because they do so discreetly. I'd rather say, I commend them for running this place so well given that once in a blue moon there can be a problem customer, but I have only seen happy people here so far. This place has a good vibe and I will continue to shop here; good people work here

I recently visited the Opus art supplies store in Langley and was impressed with the wide selection of art supplies they had available. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I was able to find everything I needed for my next art project. The prices were reasonable, and I was happy with the quality of the products I purchased. Overall, I had a great experience at Opus and would definitely recommend it to other artists in the area.

Has everything I could have asked for in terms of supplies. The prices are reasonable (especially with the bundle deals), the staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. If you're in the area, I recommend checking them out even if it's only for something small

Greeted at the door by another watercolour artist who was demonstrating brushes. Gentle wonderful knowledgeable experienced staff. I know I could get stuff cheaper online but I value that and want to make sure they are here when I need them! Shop local. Always amazed at the knowledgeable helpful staff. This time it was a steer on where to get my fountain pen fixed!

The place seemed nice at first but as I lighted upon the stoop a deep forboding overtook me. My legs wanted to flee but my heart stood fast. The chasm before me seemed to gape and undulate like a portal of withered flesh. As I made my way down the aisles lit only by the dull warm glow of my looney tunes bic lighter a shriek of luschiviant malice (or was it glee?) rang out from the dark. My bones rattling with the sickening creel. The eyes in the gloom narowed with predatory focus and my naievete could withstand no more. I hurtled towards the only egress i could see and with a slurping thud i was back on the sidewalk. I will not be visiting that Browns Socialhouse ever again
