Tom is the best, from anecdotal reviews of results I have heard from friends and strangers alike. Personally, I have twice now come with men's coats to be fitted and twice he has turned me away. I couldn't be happier with a business owner, and when I finally have a garment he agrees to fit me in, I will happily pay whatever he charges. Any business owner who's first priority is his customers satisfaction -including financially- is servicing their community as they should! Tom explained to me twice why the tailoring I was asking for was not in my best interest due to the price, as I could buy a new coat for the cost of such detailed labor. If I had sentimental attachment and insisted on paying the cost, he would have happily done his best I am sure. Making sure, as a professional, the people you are helping are truly receiving help, not just exchanging money for profit, is immeasurable beyond a review that can be left online.Please, if you are interested in having something tailored, even if you never have before, give Tom a visit. You will feel welcomed for sure.

I had a HORRIBLE experience!! Came here to get my wedding dress altered on the recommendation of locals, since I just moved to the area, and Tom made many mistakes with the dress. It took two months for him to confess that he could not appropriately alter the dress, and then it was returned to me with less than 1 month until my wedding. Do not go here for anything more complex than a hem!

Tom did a beautiful job relining my wool coat. The shop was also gave really helpful advice about choosing the fabric for the new lining. They were overall wonderful to work with!

Best tailor shop you'll find. They are highly skilled professionals that do excellent work and are most accommodating. We've used them for years, and even drive back after we moved out of town. We swear by them and are happy to highly recommend them.

Amazing! I needed pants altered for a funeral and they were very accommodating with the tight timeline. We will for sure be bringing more clothes in for alterations now that we've found Tom's!

Toms always professional and reasonable prices for the quality. Went there recently for a new zipper and ended up with a 12 dollar zipper pull fix instead. Between Toms, Penzys, George's shoe repair, liquor store, Grand Tavern, and Frattalones, a great block of local shopping

This is hands down the best clothes alternation store I’ve been to! I have a problem with clothes not fitting correctly at the waist and hips because I’m petite. I brought one item there to test the store out and to my surprise it fit perfectly! There were so many jeans, shorts, dresses and skirts I stopped wearing because I didn’t want to always wear a belt with it. You try the clothes on and tell them exactly how you want it to fit and that’s the result you’ll get! Out of the 30 or more clothes I’ve brought, there were probably 3 or less that weren’t altered to my liking but you can bring it back and they will fix it for free! All of my of my clothes were perfectly altered within 2 weeks of bringing it to the store. The employees are extremely friendly and patient. I wish I can give this store more than 5 stars!

Brought in 2 pairs of mugler jeans that needed complete reconstruction due to me thinking I could fix them myself and they were able to fix them to look like new but better because they fit perfectly after. Highly recommend!!
