Irish man visiting Victoria, had Guinness and a breakfast.Our server Megan was so so nice and genuine, made us feel right at home!I must say the breakfast was pretty close to what we make back home, and the hash browns are the best I’ve had possibly ever. Only flaw… not enough black pudding!

I had the Shepherd’s Pie here for about 22 CAD. It tasted pretty good, I just wish the portion size was a little larger.Men’s bathroom could be cleaned better, water and toilet paper was strewn all over the floor. I don’t know if this is a normal pub thing or not considering I can’t drink in most countries yet. Other than that I quite liked the interior of the restaurant.Service was great, a waiter came to check on us during the meal and we didn’t have to wait long to get the bill. All in all, I might come back when I visit Victoria again.

Terrific place with wonderful food. We were on a cruise and had a relatively short stop in Victoria-- of all the little things we ended up doing, I absolutely do not regret that one of them was eating at The Irish Times. Everyone was helpful and nice, the food was tops, and the atmosphere was fun. Lots to see and talk about. It was super busy and so service was slow, but we were informed ahead of time and made the decision to wait. It was worth it!

We seemed to arrived at a super busy time.We were seated upstairs next to a big group of people. We waited a long time for the server to come by and ask if we wanted any drinks.When she did come around we ordered drinks and food. We both had the shepards pie, I ordered a long Island iced tea (which tasted terrible), he ordered a cider.The food was great, the drinks not so much. Both were more expensive then other places. $14 for the long island iced tea. Yikes!

Loved everything about this place! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and it's in a cool historic building. I had the poutine and Times salad, both were great. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub!

Irish Times is one of those rare places that has a true pub look and feel outside of Ireland. They have a good selection of beer and spirits here including several Irish labels that are sometimes difficult to find. It’s a fairly large pub as well with two levels and plenty of bar and table seating.

Ordered the Cod Fish & Chips, Crab Bisque, and Shepherd's Pie, only one was worth writing home about. The fish & chips was a large portion, but, the batter was very greasy and the fries were soggy. The fish itself was decent, but the subpar batter was disappointing to say the least. The shepherd's pie was a little overpriced, all things considered. While it was okay, it wasn't very memorable; it felt thrown together and rushed. However, the crab bisque and included bread were absolutely incredible. The bisque itself was rich and creamy, little pieces of crab floating around, it had a nice kick to it and overall was very good.The service was very good considering how busy they were, and the atmosphere was also very inviting and comfortable. However, all together, I wouldn't necessarily recommend coming here. It was okay for a one time experience, but wouldn't return.

Super ambiance , nice vibes, excellent service, it was a live irish music , super cool band, we had burgers and salad , cider and beers all was excellent
