Boulangerie Première Moisson - Avenue Mont-Royal
I am sorry but the guys at Premièr Moisson were racist towards me just because I was Indian. I came inside and decided to order. I know there are two lines. One for like bread and stuff and one for coffee. I was waiting there order my coffee and behind me there was this caucasienne guy and the woman at the counter decided to take his order first. I was like okay maybe she thought that I came after him however she did not entertain me at all she asked another guy behind me for the order and totally ignored me. Later the other girl came and I was super upset but I was like i dont care its fine its just a 5$ coffee. I gave her the order and I told her its for here but still she gave me pour emporter. I was really scared and trust me I know being a brown guy is not good and I have taken a lot from many people but this was something catastrophe on a beautiful Sunday. Honestly, I love Première Moisson the one in cote des neiges or on laurier too and even the one on Mont royal but not now.

A French bakery (boulangerie) similar to what you'll find across France, with a Canadian (Quebec) twist. We loved the kalamata olive bread and the chocolate babka. The kiddo loved the bunny legs mousse (we didn't have a chance to taste it).

I came there following a bread for $4 promotion which I found in FB. The place was busy, and people seem to enjoy it (eat in and take out). My experience was less satisfactory, though:1) the bread does not taste freshly and just made, as I expected to find when going to a bakery shop.2) Apparently the promotion is for more than one type of bread , but no one has disclosed this information to me - giving me the choice. I believe that I ended up not buying the bread which I meant to, but something else.

Out of town visit. Fantastic croissants and cheesecake. The egg cheese pastry sandwich was great and all takeaway mini desserts were to die for. Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast place in Montreal!

This is the best bakery in the area! The first time I went here, I was amazed by the endless options. Everything here is worth trying! My favorites were the smoked salmon and cream cheese on a croissant, as well as the cream puff with strawberries and whipped cream inside.

Have returned, would recommend. The Vancouver Brekka of QC is Boulangerie Premiére Moisson. Huge selection of high quality baked goods like pastries, desserts and chocolates. They serve coffee which is par.I really like their Raisin pastry, which is super buttery and has a nice soft crisp.Almond here is not for me, still super delicious, but very different to the Toronto style, where this croissant is more soft and dense than crisp and airy. The almond filling is par.Takes AMEX.

Ah.. outside of the bread looked good, but the inside of the bread is still gummy. I can fix this by returning slices to the oven for a few more minutes… but i am bit surprised. I bought this from PA. Maybe quality control is needed for the baked goods delivered to groceries?
