I’ve had both sons registered in programs there and they both enjoyed them a ton. Adin is a great teacher and really gets the dynamics of teaching kids of all ages.

Horrible experience, this is a mad house.

My 11 year old son participated in the Parkour and Obstacles class and LOVED it! He really enjoyed Coach Adin and the energy and enthusiasm he brought to each class. I have heard so many wonderful things out in the community about this new gym and all that it offers. My son can't wait to do another session.

I started working here in August. It is such a great space and the staff are awesome!

My grandson has amazed me over the years. Meghan and her training at the gym has made him such an amazing gymnast! And he is so much more disciplined and aware of who he is and his potential to actualize his skills in life.

It’s such an incredible gift to have this new gymnastics facility in Nanaimo. My kids fell in love with this sport and have gone on to represent their coach, province and country proudly.VIP coaches have the highest level of NCCP, Gymnastics BC and Gymnastics Canada coaching certification and experience available and the state of the art equipment and huge facility make it fun for kids of all levels and abilities.Additionally, the program is more diverse than other mid island gyms as it has programs in Women’s, men’s and trampoline gymnastics from recreational to career athletes.

We love going to drop in gymnastics! The instructors are friendly and are great with the kids. There is a lot of variety with the equipment and there are 2 floors for the kids to play on. The space is set up very well. It is fun, clean and most importantly safe for children of a variety of ages. Definitely reccomend this gym!

After careful consideration, this review is left after series incidents with VIP Gymsports.I enrolled both of my children into this gymnastic school starting September 2021. The first incident was one day not long after the enrolment, when I picked up my kids, both were in tears, I found out that my then 5 year old son was tangled on his thigh and leg and felt trapped at the spider web in the facility at the end of the class, my then 7 year old daughter found him before any adults did, thankfully she was able to go get help but however he felt hurt and terrified. When I went to inquire about what happened and tried to bring up my concern, their then instructor Megan was dismissive and she did not really validate what happened. From the information I gathered was that they did the cleaning at the end of the class due to COVID, so all the kids were free playing without proper supervision. This should be a safety red flag. My thought at that time was incidents do happen, the kids are fine, this school is new and business is hard, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and accepted what happened.I regret that I signed them up for the new session which is starting on Feb 8, 2022. Both of my children don't want to go back after the first class, since they were taught the same thing that they had already learnt from the previous session. I managed to convince them to give it another try. So when I dropped them off for the 2nd class, I watched the class in session for about 30 minutes. None of the kids from the previous session were there, my kids were put in the same class as kids that are completely new to the program. After the 2nd class which is Feb 15th, both children would not go back. We called them and try to see if they could give us a reasonable explanation why they would put kids that’s been in a program for 5 months together with kids who are completely new and see if there is a solution. The front desk kept saying that they were going to call us back but they never did. After several frustrating attempts, finally today (Feb 28) the owner Megan called back, only that she hung up on us after an unpleasant conversation.For the Feb program, we paid $56.11 as registration fee plus $139.6 as tuition fee. My kids attended 2 classes in total ( unwillingly after the 1st class ). We requested at least make partially refund and they refused.What I don’t understand is how could you put kids into such inappropriate program, provide such horrible customer service after we try to resolve the problem with you in good faith, and you offer no solution, take zero accountability, and refuse to make any refund even for lessons don’t attend. You blamed the parents, blamed the kids, making customers taking all responsibilities and you take nil. This is just terrible.So no, I would not recommend this place to anyone, on top of the safety concern, these people are not to be trusted.Please, I request that my account to be deleted from your school system completely, I really just want nothing to do with you.
