Can not say more about how grateful my family and I are to Sandra. My Omi had an unfortunate fall about a week before my sister's wedding day which landed her in the hospital. We were all absolutely devastated at the fact she was unable to attend. Even worse was our entire family would be at the wedding, and no one would be able to help set her up a call to even watch it remotely. Sandra came to our rescue the night before and assured us there would be someone at my grandmothers side so she could watch the ceremony. Sandra personally brought an iPad to the hospital, sat with my Omi through the whole ceremony to ensure she could see and hear everything from her hospital bed. She went a step further by even reaching out to the wedding coordinator at the venue to organize logistics so a seat to be saved for the device to be in the front row. The compassion, accommodation and empathy demonstrated simply goes above and beyond what we had expected. With her help, we made the most of unfortunate circumstances and both my sister and my Omi will never forget that moment. Words cannot describe our gratitude. Thank you Sandra and SHHC.

It's really a great experience to work with Sandra's home health care .The management is really good and they are very helpful for the client as well as the staff's .They treat all staff members equally and supports them so much in their needs .We also have work and life balance with Sandra Home health care ,we can schedule our own availability, Their pay is really good .I worked at different places among that Sandra s health care is No.1 in my heart .And I also wish to continue to work with Sandra .Special thanks go for Melissa .All work she does is unexplainable. Sandra and her team were lifesavers for us. My mother-in-law grew up in Niagara on the Lake, married and raised her family here and then settled into her family’s Victorian cottage in the Old Town.Kaye was fun-loving, strong willed and under no circumstances was she willing to live anywhere else but her home. Sandra and her staff allowed us to help Kaye achieve her (and our) goal. She was able to stay at home until the end (at 95) with the assistance of the PSW’s that came and nursed her when she was ill, took her shopping when she wanted to get out (which was often), cleaned for her and stayed overnight when it was required.Sandra made every effort to ensure that Kaye was comfortable with the care workers that supported her and that they had a good relationship. At that time, Sandra would call us personally and let us know when Kaye was having an issue of some kind and her staff would take her to hospital, when necessary, so we could meet them there on our way from Mississauga.When Kaye was failing, Sandra even stopped by the hospital on her way back from B.C where she had just accepted the “Caregiver of The Year” award from Canada Cares. She remains a friend and we have recommended her to many other friends always with great results.

We have PSWs coming to our home to assist me with a family member with dementia while I myself am waiting for hip surgery. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders when I know our PSW is coming that day to help. They are all great and the workload is endless. The days they come, I know I will finally be able to finish a morning cup of coffee, lay in bed a little longer or sit with my feet up and they do it all! I feel so calm and relaxed knowing that Mom is in great hands and she trusts them too!! Best decision my husband and I ever made bringing this great team into our house! We can not thank them enough and are so grateful for the care and assistance they provide!

I’ve never given a google review before as I’ve never felt compelled to acknowledge people for simply doing their job. That is, till I met Sandra.Approximately ten years ago I had a dear family member suffer a brain hemorrhage and has been deteriorating since. When it became clear she required full time assistance, I didn’t know where to go.I was advised to contact Sandra’s Home Health Care.Sandra not only helped me personally but also checked in after the fact routinely. This gave me tremendous peace of mind. In this day and age where companies appear more invested in optics and perception than performance, it was refreshing to deal with a company whose optics and perception are derived from performance.

I worked for Sandra’s Home Health Care many years ago until I took a leave. I’ve recently come back into the field and the first and only place I wanted to work at again was Sandra’s. They are like a family. You are treated fairly and with the utmost respect. The same care and compassion that is put into the clients wellbeing is also put into the caregivers. It is hard to find a good employer, but Sandra’s is definitely a cut above the rest!

I had the good fortune to be introduced to Sandra's Service through the hospital discharge planner. I could not have asked for a more wonderful service in the most difficult time of my life. The PSW women were so kind, gentle and loving it was as though we were surrounded by family. In fact they came to be our family during those weeks.

I am a PSW with Sandra's. I love it! I am at the latter end of my career and Sandra's is just the right place for me. I worked in LTC for years and now I need to slow down--but not give in. Their flexibility allows me to work the hours I want and finally spend evenings and weekends with my family. They give the PSW's the same regard and respect that is given the clients we serve. I hope to work with Sandra's long past the usual retirement date--until I need their services myself.
