I talked to the mandarin-speaking financial advisor (sorry about missing her name) from this branch a while ago. Overall ok, the lady seemed pretty preconceived and failed to provide any constructive opinions. Compared to my previous experience with CIBC, RBC and TD, I didn't open my business account here.Update:After talking to another FA from another bank, I decided to deduct another 2 stars from the review, since the gap turned out to be further than I expected:The other FA gave me totally OPPOSITE advice. However I was so convinced since the advice was based on lots of calculations and theories. I just realized the lady from this BMO branch didn't even do one simple calculation and only gave me brochure info and opinions what she believed right based on her 'experience'. Disappointing.Thank you for the response, I will definitely email you when I get a chance:)

Tellers provide excellent service, they are friendly and professional and go out of their way to assist customers. This is marred by the young people who you have to talk to about a loan, these young people are snotty, arrogant and rude. It is insulting and degrading to be talked down to by a person younger than your daughter, this has happened to me 3 times in the past 2.5 years and I am fed up with it.

The service we received today left me in shock and disbelief. We went to settle our issue in person and the clerk behind the counter was utterly unhelpful. She told us to do it online" which in reality implied calling the customer service and waiting on hold for over an hour! This was precisely the reason why we took the time from our day to go to a branch in person to begin with! We tried calling them yesterday and just gave up on waiting for them to reply! How come they couldn't do anything for us if we were there with all our IDs and other documents required? It just blows my mind. I have never experienced such poor customer support at any bank in the WORLD before! I would have rated it as a minus five stars experience if I could."

I went to this branch this morning for some basic information. I was met with hostility, un-professionalism and down right bad attitude from Ronnie, one of the customer service people at 255 King St N. She was rude, not very helpful, and wasted my valuable time. This led me to travel all the way to Uptown Waterloo to get my basic business needs taken care of and where I received excellent customer service.

I had a pre-booked appointment for which they were late; no one even acknowledged me when I came in. I was comparing LOC offers and had an offer from another bank. They basically told me since I wasn't already their customer, I should stick with my bank's offer. Tried to explain how applying works and said I don't know you". I have a good job

Disappointed with the appointment my wife and I had with Lin Chen today. She hardly bothered with offering any details for a new account opening! She provided us with a booklet, and when we waited for any additional inputs, nothing was forthcoming. I went online and asked her for details on the specific package we were looking for - and she then suggested she's already provided all the information and we've not been listening to her. When I told her I'd rather leave if she was not interested or if we could talk to someone else who might be slightly more interested - her first reaction was that I didn't let her finish. We waited for her to finish, and nothing else was forthcoming again! We then requested to speak to someone else and had a much more informed discussion with the second advisor - Sonia.We were recommended to BMO by friends and had come in to open the account, but this interaction with Lin has certainly put us in two minds.

Lin opened my accounts some time ago and she managed to enter BOTH my name and email address wrong. I wouldn't mind if it was just a one time mistake but she was absolutely careless. Especially she was literally given my id for the name part. had to visit another branch to have everything fixed

BMO's customer service is absolutely wonderful. They have cheap and affordable prices it's over all a great and trustworthy place to keep your bank records and more. RBC however has terrible customer service they do not make time for you, BMO always has time for you even if there schedule is completely full they will still spend a good 5 minutes with you to show you what they are like.

Horrible and downright disrespectful customer service.They are not very well organized at all. Firstly, I was only told to bring two pieces of ID to open my business account. When I showed up I was told I needed additional information. That was time wasted for me.Secondly, I emailed the account advisor asking if the attached documents were adequate to open up my account. She said yes. I showed up at our appointment and was once again told that documentation was not good enough. When I inquired why she would have told me to come in and that it was good enough if it wasn't, she began raising her voice to me and talking to me very fast and in an extremely rude tone.If you're looking for decent service I wouldn't recommend using this Bank.
