Donair King

Not bad, but there are in my opinion the meat is very slim cutted and the donair isn't that big as you can expect.

Chicken and lamb shawarma (#9, supposedly the most popular dish) was good! Highly recommend. I would get some spicy sauce next time though.

Incredible Donair. Owner is an awesome guy, and makes super delicious food. This place has been around for ages and the quality has never dropped. Well done! I'll be back as always, yum!

$25 for a dried out beef and chicken platter with a teaspoon of sauce? Worst shawarma in downtown vancouver (what's worse?) and customer service to not be proud of. Will never be back, rather walk a little further and get something fresher, tastier, and cheaper.EDIT: Are you even serious? Zero customer, no greeting, no hello, the rude lady just stared at me. I ordered only extra chicken, not beef, and both were so bad in quality that you should be embarrassed to even ask for half of the price. The sauce was literally a tiny coin sized, WHY DON'T YOU ASK THE CUSTOMER??? Why not show the meal before closing it like other proper restaurants do?? Your food is terrible as is your customer service, and so overpriced it's actually no wonder why there was NOBODY eating in your restaurant. You offer below average stale food that serves the bar crowds late at night, because they don't care about taste or cost, only convenience. I'm going to Mr Shawarma, best in town. Paramount is very good too.

Friendly people - delicious Donaires! I had lamb. All the fixings. And the baklava was the best I've had in ages. Crispy filo pastry and a *touch* of honey - not too sweet like many. Will go back when I'm in the neighborhood. And they are open late too.

Out for a walk and smelled something really good. Was greeted by a very nice young lady and as she made my chicken donair (no tomatoes) we had a very nice conversation. This donair was delicious. Like really good. Definitely going back!!

I dropped by late one night because I was craving falafel, and I wasn't disappointed. The owners are wonderful and welcoming, and the space is cozy and nice to chat in. The falafel sandwich was excellent, but I forgot to ask for it with fries, so I'll definitely be back for another!

I got a chicken Shawarma is really tasty. Ask for extra toast it if you want crisp outside softer inside.

Came here for a falafel wrap after being disappointed by the lack of authentic falafel wraps I’ve had in Vancouver. The staff were super friendly and it seems to be a locally known spot in the neighbourhood. The wrap was fantastic, only problem is now when I walk by there, I start craving falafel!I’ll definitely be back!*Edit: I came here recently and I ordered a falafel platter for the first time, I got the amount of food pictured, three falafel balls, some salad, hummus and pita (no rice) for 17$ after tax and tip. I won’t be making that mistake again.Really sad to have to say this because supporting small businesses are important, I don’t know what happened here but it’s absolutely insane.For someone who is new, walking into the store, the menu can be really confusing to read. The way they have their platters structured is also confusing. I didnt actually see a falafel platter on the menu, I saw chicken (which was pictured with rice, so i assumed falafel would be the same) not sure why just salad is the default if you dont mention to the server otherwise. Most places will give rice and salad in a way bigger box. Even if salad was the default, it isnt filling at all and the box is basically empty, for 17$ its 100% not worth it.I wont be coming here again, im really disappointed with my last experience and the stores reply.

Nice and fresh. The platter was very flavourful. The service was good. It gets really busy but it’s worth the wait.
