If I could do negative stars I would. I personally don’t use them. They have a reputation of being snotty, bully’s and self righteous.My parents moved here from BC and needed to get AB licenses. They were given the usual run around of what they needed. Jumped thru all the hoops. The whole time of hoop jumping they were warned by not one but many about “the ladies at the end of the street”. Some said good luck and snickered. Well , they got all the papers, tests, you name it that was needed and applied. An IN HOUSE MISTAKE made by one the the woman in there caused the delay of my dad’s application. She inverted numbers and it was caught at the next level. They called. My dad had to go again to town. Show more ID even tho they had destroyed his BC license and now only has an invalid piece of paper they gave him. They said they would fix the issue in house and if not they would call. They didn’t call. A month later still no license. We called. They needed more ID. Finally we find out that the AB govt cancelled his license. They were Snotty about it and he now has to reapply. We will be going to Castor. Hopefully we can get the $96 fee back from Stettler. Not hopeful on that.one of the first things they heard in Stettler was about the b!tchy ladies at the end of the street. Now they know it’s true.

Registered a vehicle, waited 30 minutes with the paperwork was being faxed over to them multiple times. Their fax machine wasn't even turned on, no one checked the machine. The teller just played on her phone while having me wait. Make the trip to any other registry, this one is not worth your time.

I booked a driver's test to have my GDL removed with these guys. I called on a Tuesday, and asked for an appointment for this Friday. Everything was booked and I was happy.I called on my way up to confirm the appointment. Turns out the nice old lady whom I'd talked to had booked me for next Friday, and didn't think it important to tell me over the phone. She'd emailed it to me in some redundant info package I obviously never read, because I'm a man.Upon cancelling the appointment, they charged me a $20 service fee. What services were rendered you ask? Absolutely none. Now I have to wait until next week to start my new job. I guess I'll scour the praries this weekend for wild tubers in a vain attempt not to starve.Everyone who works here is a stinky booger face.

DO NOT GO TO Stettler Registry Services - 1996 Ltd. FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS! I took the day off work to drive to the Edmonton Passport Office to complete my passport. Paid 30% above the standard fee for passport photos but wasn't concerned about the price since I was looking for convenience.After a days lost wages, fueling up my vehicle and paying for parking (easily $180+ in lost expense) MY PHOTOS HAD TWO UN-DEBATABLE FLAWS AND COULD NOT BE ACCEPTED (2 clerks verified) and with my guarantor located back in Stettler I could not just pay to get them done that day in Edmonton. I had to drive home without a passport.When I called registries after I had left the passport office I firmly yet kindly explained to them how the expense to me is much more than they $21 they charged me for the photos, I was told to come in and we will figure it out." I certainly didn't expect they would fully compensate me but I expected some middle ground would be reached and I'd be given a genuine apology for the HUGE INCONVENIENCE.Well their 'figuring it out' "was that "we don't guarentee our photos". No compensation aside from my own $21 back for the service I never even received. Don't call it a passport photo if it doesn't meet the standard guide of a passport photo. It is your business to know that the photo is acceptable/valid."

Good experience. Staff works fast. I passed my class 5 full license drive test here. Examinator was friendly, so I was comfortable during the test.

I wish i could rate this place lower than one star.. I'm new to town and needed to get an Alberta lisence, they were extremely snotty and quick to brush me off when i didnt have the exact info they required. I decided to go to Castor where they were welcoming helpful and willing to use the information i had in order to get my lisence changed. Castor it is from now on....

This particular visit was unbearable. The lady was unable to assist with documents I requested and tried to charge me for what she was confused about. She started yelling in the place in front of a bunch of people and completely embarrassed herself. I have never had any trouble with the place before this day. Worst customer service I’ve witnessed in years. I’m embarrassed for this registries hire. Hope that people will take their business elsewhere if possible.

3 attempts to get my licence renued with nothing but snotty attitude from them. Was never able to bring them enough proof of who I am or where I live. Quick trip to Camrose and the friendly courteous staff had me on my way in 5 minutes. With only my initials beside my address on the paper indicating it was current address. Come on people what ever happened to small town politeness and helpfulness
