Awesome little park! Short hike to get there, a little precarious because of the drop on the right hand side while getting there. Saw some crabs, a seal, eagles and a heron!

Great playground for kids with a nice view of the water. Public washrooms right by the playground. We were not here on a market day, but would have added to the liveliness. Not much shade over the park when we were there at midday (baby swings were shaded though!), but with the nearby trees there must be some at other times of day, and there was lots of surrounding shade for caregivers to sit.

Such a nice setup, however it was sad as there were quite a few intoxicated individuals who were very disruptive which caused my children to not feel safe to play at the park

Centennial Park
Older park which is looking for a renovation upcoming. Pretty cool rocking horse which can hold 5 kids at the same time, a real gem. Often filled with smelly hippies, and yes you can smell them from some distance away, but they are friendly people and keep to themselves (except for their BO). Nearby restaurants for food needs, half decent boardwalk at the harbour end. Nothing to write home about. On Saturday it is home to the Saturday market.

Centennial Park
A very cool little park in Ganges where there is lots for everyone. There is a great play park for the kids, there is a great wooden boardwalk along the waterfront where you can see all the boats and we enjoyed watching a heron feast on his lunch. There are also several memorial displays here for the historian buffs as well. See below pics.

Oct.6 /2020. Centennial Park. Much the same in the park as it was 10 years ago.Same group of people, different faces. Theres always something happening in the park. Today is Thursday with a farmers market with all kinds of fruits and vegetables for sale.

If you were to create an algorithm based on privilege and substantiation in contrast to objective economic principles, and you purchased sub par alcohol and a few joints, palm trees and a million dollar 80s come back bathroom; then you'd have centennial park. So many good times! Love the sounds. What a gift!

Views of the ocean and the boats. Beautiful boardwalk with a gazebo. Nice shade and beautiful playground. Close access to stores and eateries make it easy to bring food here but there was two groups of 5 getting high in the park so it makes it less ideal for children. The smell was awful and I don’t think this is uncommon.
