Island Mediquip - Nanaimo

This company is beyond amazing- they really have heart and care for those that find themselves in need of a wheelchair. Craig is possibly the best guy in the world and his help with my mom this last few months was unbelievable. He got her into an incredible chair - literally changed her life - but all changed our whole family’s life in the process too. We are so grateful to have met him and for the aid and attention. We couldn't recommend Island Mediquip more strongly!

Highly recommend the store and its helpful, knowledgeable staff. So glad I tried out that new Pride Mobility Metro lift chair and came back to purchase it. Best investment possible for recovery from a THR.

Craig has given us caring, super service. He did home delivery and explained how everything can be adjusted. One of the good ones.

We desperately needed a part for a CPAP which would allow it to work during a major storm. No part, no breathing while the storm raged. They did not have the part but went the extra mile and found us one in Courtney at another company. What an amazing group. We will be forever grateful for their help. Thanks.

I had issues with a hospital bed that needed repair. I phoned the company I had bought the bed from years earlier. It is under new ownership and they wanted nothing to do with me. I then called Island Mediquip in Nanaimo which is about an hour away from where I live, and they sent a tech to my home within the next few days and the problem was taken care of. Excellent customer service and very reasonable rates. I highly recommend this company!

Island Mediquip Nanaimo, and Craig in particular, have gone above & beyond to help us ... by asking questions so that they bought exactly what was needed, by securing quality products / equipment in a timely manner, by doing their best with price/cost, and with excellent customer service all along the way. After searching all over town for crutches for my daughter I called Medi Equip. The lady was so helpful. They are also way cheaper then all the other stores I went too!Thanks again!

This is a company that understands what customer service is all about.I am going into hospital and will be needing a two month recovery period. Getting in and out, and being comfortable in a chair will be of importance. To that end I decided to rent a power recliner - lift chair.I called a few locations here i Nanaimo and really wasn't getting anywhere. Then I talked with Kelly from Island Mediquip. Everything came together. She explained the differences, sent photos, and I rented a chair. Today (next day) two excellent technicians delivered my chair. They even moved the old one into a different room for me.I am very happy with my rental and will likely purchase one of my own. Needless to say it will be from Island Mediquip.
