Halifax City Soccer Club

It is not well organized for scheduling the classes. They have different class times every week and it makes family and children uncomfortable. I felt disrespectful about it. They do not care about others' time. They schedule the class whatever and whenever they can. From the first of the summer, every month has two different fields and changeable timing. It is not stable timing and location at all.I haven't got any report about my child's progress last summer and this summer. i believe they are far more unorganized than we think. I won't register my child here anymore and even do not suggest it to anyone.

I can honestly say Halifax City Soccer is the only club soccer we've been with that has delivered on their promises to our child.Player development is definitely at the forefront for them and communication has been outstanding this year.

Love our local club! We've been a part of the Halifax City Soccer Club family for over 9 years. We are so happy with the programs and the Club's culture/community feel. A leader in their field, they genuinely look after the all the kids best interest. The recent changes has been positive and a bonus to the Club. Our family is so happy to be a part of their growing tribe.

My son joined this year at age 9. I’m really impressed with the focus on fun and healthy competition. My son has loved it!

City is our club! We’ve been part of it through thick and thin over the past 8 years since our son was 5. Our son has had many awesome coaches and made many friends here. Besides soccer skills he has learned commitment, discipline, loyalty, trust, and most of all a love for the game. We are so excited about the positive energy and direction the club is taking under its new leadership. Go City!

My son had a wonderful experience with this club. They were very accommodating and the coaching and encouragement was extremely good. Well done Halifax City soccer club.

This is by far the worst run league I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in any sport. I played competitively in three sports and I have never seen such mismanagement. Completely unorganized from top to bottom.Coach’s are slapped together, sometimes 16 year old kids learning to coach other 12 year old kids. Parent volunteers who don’t know the first thing about how to properly teach soccer to children.Do yourself a favour and contact Dunbrack Soccer or any of the other clubs. All are managed properly. Like night and day compared to City Soccer. City Soccer basically just wings it. They slap together whatever teams they can with whatever coach’s they can find.With so many other better options available stay away from City Soccer!! Your children deserve better!!

I registered my child, my credit card was charged and I received an email confirmation that someone would be in contact with me to further discuss my child's enrollment. This was in June and I have yet to hear from anyone.I have sent emails to the two provided emails from the confirmation email in regards to refunds and the emails bounce back. The numbers are also out of service.Absolutely appalled by this.People, B-E-W-A-R-E!!!!!!

When we moved to Halifax 4 years ago, I called all three Halifax soccer clubs. City is the only one that called me back. My kids have been part of the City family ever since. As all clubs do, there have been ups and downs in that time, but with recent changes in club management, I only see a positive future for Halifax City Soccer Club. Go City!

Both of my kids loved their time doing half day soccer camps at Needham. I would recommend the summer camps to anyone with kids who enjoy soccer and want to improve.
