Yip Hong's Dim Sum Restaurant (康乐园)
Very rude. Trying to call to place an order like I usually do and I was hung up on 3 times. And told to order online when I told her I always order this way as I have no credit card was hung up on again. This was the rudest lady I have ever talked too and won't be ordering again. Not everyone has a credit card and when calling to pay you for food which has never been a problem before is pretty disappointing. Maybe learn how to speak to your customers and not hang up on them trying to order your food because they don't have a credit card. People don't always carry cash either there should be debit option which I tried to tell her I have debit and still was hung up on. Being busy doesn't mean you can't write down an order when someone is trying to order your food and then hanging up on them. It has never been a problem before. And I tried ordering at 230 which is past lunch time so you for having to take 2 minutes to write something down is wrong. Hanging up on someone is not ok when they are paying you over 80 dollars for food. Lots of places are busy but being to busy to take a customers order I have never heard.

Yip Hong's Dimsum Restaurant is the Chinese eatery that tops my list. I savored the delectable deep-fried chicken alongside a delightful medley of mixed vegetables and tofu. Additionally, I indulged in a variety of delectable dim sum delicacies. I highly recommend giving it a try! It's consistently bustling with customers on weekends.

This was my first time experiencing dim sum. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a little lacking, but the food was good and the service was quick.The food and drink are ordered through an online service, so use of your phone camera and a QR code is required at the table; I'm not sure if there is an alternative method. Sometimes the food is brought by servers, and other times by a serving robot - very fun!The pricing seems reasonable. For the dim sum menu items, you pay per order (i.e. $X for an order of steamed pork buns) and can order as much as you like. You table's total is kept on a tab until the end of the meal. The rest of the menu operates much the same, but includes larger dishes as opposed to individual/shareable items.Tables seat up to eight in a circle. Everything is set on a spinning centrepiece so you can dish and then rotate the centre to access another item (instead of passing the dishes around).Would definitely recommend the experience for groups.

Yip Hong's Dim Sum Restaurant (康乐园)
This is the best dim sum restaurant in town. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favourites are the shrimp dumplings, the beef rice rolls, and the wrapped rice. I sometimes get the rice to go because it heats up well, steamed or microwaved with a bit of water in the bowl. It's great to dine in once in awhile and the delivery is always speedy.

Always good food everytime i go. The addition of a robot waiter adds a fun element to the dim sum experience. A definite must if you like dim sum, next time you're in Saskatoon.

Loved it! Our Dim Sum selections came in a timely fashion and were all fresh and hot. No more trolleys to tables to make selections from, but menus with photos available as well as a very handy QR code so we could also look at menu items online and order directly from that.

Excellent dim sum. A unique approach to ordering. Service to refill our tea pot was a little slow (ie quick to pick up empty dishes but no one noticed our tea pot lid was upturned to signify an empty tea pot) Nice clean restaurant.

Went for Dim Sum. Very delicious. First time for us. We weren't sure of the procedure, but figured it out ordering on our phones. The delivery robot was cute and the food was great. Tried a few new to us foods. Also, very affordable. We were very surprised at how inexpensive it was.

Yip Hong's Dim Sum Restaurant (康乐园)
There aren't many dim sum restaurants in Saskatoon, so as far as the local selection goes, this place is pretty good with some flaws. Overall, the food all tasted good and everything is cooked fresh to order. In particular, I enjoyed the various steamed dumplings they had. Nothing was particularly greasy or salty, everything was cooked well. Prices are okay. Ordering is done through your phone, where you scan a QR code at your table and send your order directly to the kitchen. You can also order takeout this way. Each table also has a button to call for service, which is nice. Time for food to come out is variable, sometimes quick, sometimes long.
