Deerfoot Athletic Park
Some of the best and well groomed sports fields in Calgary. Finding the right field can be a bit of a challenge; I wish they had some more signage or maps but that is not a problem unique to this park.

Solid athletic park with four ball diamonds and some shaded green spaces. Didn't find any washrooms or porta-potties onsite though which is a big miss since all diamonds were full.

Great place to sled. They have a few baseball diamonds. No designated trail for walking, though.

Pretty good sports field. Looked as though senior high school flag football was the venue. Didn't see any slides or swings

Awesome day of tobogganing and of course having 4 grand kids. But they asked me if I would leave the phone behind lol. I got a picture of a truck though.

Great spot to get an outdoor workout in. Lots of people come here to play or practice their respective sports - from frisbee, spikeball, soccer, you name it! There are also tennis courts here near the south parking lot

Great park to walk your dog in. there are a lot of pathways in-and-out of the trees and bushes. warning there is no water nearby so bring water on a hot day.

Big fields and open space. Visually, a nice park - small playground and tennis court included here. Noise is a big factor if you're on the fields. The highway noise can be quite loud. Since it is by a highway, access to the lots can be a bit roundabout.Mosquitoes are abundant in the summer so if you're planning on spending some time here, it would be worthwhile to pack a repellent or bring someone who's more likely to be targeted
