TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

I went to this branch today to deposit a cheque into one of your clients' accounts. I was told by the manager that I was unable to but I have been able to do so at other branches. It's so weird that different branches of the same institution have different policies. The manager was not helpful and she was also condescending. I went to another location nearby and was able to deposit the cheque. I agree with all the other reviewers about avoiding this location

[Updated 2021-07-16] Rebooked an appointment for the next day. The TD staff was very helpful and efficient. She helped us to get everything done in 20 mins! Updated the star rating back to 3.Booked an appointment 4 - 5 days ago to do an account transfer for a joint account. Appointment was confirmed and an email reminder was received a day ago. The appointment was not early in the morning, but found out the agent was not working that day when we arrived! Not to mention my wife and I had to take time off to be in person for the appointment. Other staffs in the bank know the agent was not working that day, but we received no email notification, phone call, message about that. And there was no arrangement to have another agent to help us. And they ended up printing out some forms for us to fill on our own at home. Very disappointed with the service!!!

As I look at the reviews of this location, I am no longer surprised about my horrible experience.There are number of different managers that do nothing but make your experience dreadful. Lowest rated branch in Richmond hill. It all makes sense.

Too many people are waiting for 20 mins but still only 2 clerk provided services at 3:45pm, very bad experience

This bank has an awesome team and a dedicated staff. I just want to thank Emad for the excellent service. I appreciate all the staff and look forward to many years banking with TD.

I switched banks due to a promotion. I wish I never did. Td bank is the worst bank in Canada. Their services are the worst. Unable to open products, spend a lot of time on the phone with them and they won't even allow me to deposit except at the teller! DO NOT bank with TD.

I'm very surprised by the comment below. I've had nothing but excellent experiences since switching to this branch. Especially with Ou, who initially helped me set up my accounts. She truly goes above and beyond and has been so helpful at every step... its like visiting with a friend to stop by this branch. I'm very grateful, and would highly recommend this bank and its staff.

Update:We have to come back to this branch and this time we are helped by staff Emad who is very nice and patient. Good to see the branch is getting back up!——Unfortunately i have to agree with other poor reviews at this TD; my wife and I came to pay and setup electricity and credit card bills as payees on my wife’s TD account and been asked to go try setup online ourselves and for credit cards they cannot setup visa as payee at this bank and we have to do it ourselves. I have never experienced this kind of push backs at other TD locations and those locations helped me setup all my credit cards as payees. We have been avoiding to come to this location before and seems we should continue to avoid this. There are 1 or 2 nice staffs here but unfortunately the negatives ones deliver too strong of an impression

I had a bad experience at this branch with an advisor Ivy. We needed to call TD Waterhouse and she did not once offer to call for us on our behalf or advise us to call using the app for faster connection, making us wait on the line for an extremely long time. When we were having trouble answering security questions she did not speak at all to say that she had already verified our ID, until I prompted her. Overall really poor attitude and couldn’t care less about customer service.
