Clipper Shipp Beach Motel

If I could give this place 10 stars I would…. The rooms are amazing and huge and have a full kitchen and fridge. Beautiful views from the deck or walk down to the beach area … it is steps away! Fire table available for use as well as a bbq on each deck area and a fire pit on the beach. I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling in New Brunswick (Pocologan) … 35 minutes west of St.Johns.You can easily watch the tide rise … during low tide you can walk for miles on the floor of the Bay of Fundy …. Collect shells and take in the beauty. During high tide we were able to see seals popping their heads up!Update… we had 2 nights booked and loved it so much we added a third night here. This place is AWESOME

The location right on the Bay of Fundy was superb and there were many places from which to enjoy the views and sounds of the water. The owner and staff were very present and helpful with any requests. All of the units have cooking facilities which make it vey family friendly. We booked in late in the evening after finding our reservation in Grand Manan too dirty and unacceptable to stay, the Clipper Shipp was such a pleasant experience we stayed three more nights. Very good value.

The rooms were so clean. The cleaning crew do an amazing job! It smelled so fresh and clean when we walked in. It is nice and close to New River Beach and has an amazing view of the ocean. This is one of my favorite places to stay. So peaceful.

This hotel is as good a beach experience as you can get, from the rooms with a bay view (every room has one), to the private beach, to the well-equipped suites, to the hospitable staff. We've now had two great summer vacations here...and watching a sunrise from their beach overlook patio is an experience everyone should have. Great, great place.

I have stayed here twice. Absolutely love it! The rooms are a little dated but extremely clean and functional. The beach is beautiful! Will definitely return again. Highly recommend!

My room was dated but that's fine, because it was very well equipped and very clean. Stayed there for over 2 months and enjoyed my whole stay. Have recommended it to others (had a stove microwave, coffee maker, fast WiFi, bbq etc)

MajesticI can't say enough about this place. I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed in more ocean front hotels than I can count. This place is truly special. It may not look like much from the road, but you must stop and give it a chance. The rooms are simple but very clean. The beds are comfortable and the sheets smell like heaven. The best part is opening your patio doors which reveals a quiet little beach on the Bay of Fundy. Take the time to watch the sunrise. Worth every penny.

This is our favorite place to stay on our way to PEI. The rooms are spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the bay. Having a grill is great for late arrivals and dishes/silverware are provided. Staff is very friendly! We love the Clipper Shipp Motel!

Great location, amazing view but might be time for the owner to retire.The location of this motel is second to none. Overlooking the bay of Fundy, this motel has ocean water views all around!The rooms are quaint and in need of some updating, but are clean and functional. Decent sheets and a good mattress and pillows make for a good sleep.A kitchenette and dining table accompany the rooms complete with microwave, fridge and stove. The deck overlooking the view is great but again, could use some TLC.The owner isn’t miserable or anything but definitely gives a crotchety vibe. I just think he’s done with his industry and after so many years, I can’t blame him.
