It's a nice small garden with some flowering plants and an awesome view from the deck at the entrance.

We mainly come here for the accessible train bridge overlooking a very busy transit corridor. There is free parking off Plains Road West. Beautiful in the fall, but if you want to tour the gardens, come in the summer. Plenty of paths connect from here to some great hiking or biking opportunities. Plenty of train action for the rail fans through the week.

I gave four stars because I went by bus from Hamilton and found getting back to the bus stop inconvenient but if you are driving, there is plenty of parking.I was happy to pay the $10 entrance fee for access only to the Lake Garden instead of having to pay general admission.I enjoyed a peaceful stroll around the garden's main attraction at the time, admiring the few Irises that were still blooming, but still an amazing variety of colours. I can imagine just a few days earlier it would have been stunning. There were plenty of peonies still in bloom and the variety was captivating.A nice place to find a shady spot and take time to reflect.

This is a nice garden. It was a little underwhelming as we went when many of the gardens were not in bloom. We went at the end of July, so for this garden, it would have been much more enjoyable had we gone a month or two earlier. You can pay $10 for only this garden, or pay general admission to the RBG to access all of the gardens, as well as the indoor centre itself. For me, $10 would likely not be worth it, but as part of the general admission, it's worth checking out. There are a few benches, picnic tables, and muskoka chairs scattered about for you to rest, have a snack, or just enjoy being surrounded by nature.Parking is available on site, as well as public bathrooms.

Beautiful place to see vibrant peonies. People brought picnic blankets to sit and enjoy the nice weather. It’s a bit smaller than the other gardens.

This was a nice experience. The tickets were about 20 a person and you had access to more than 1 garden. They sell water and wines inside, great service. The flowers are beautiful, some of the flowers that were planted were not in season so they did not bloom as yet. Most of the washrooms were very dirty.
