Even though my wife and I are fairly knowledged DIYers, Jamie inspected our 'offer house' and educated us on things to be aware of and concerned about. We withdrew the offer, and found another house 2 days later that he came to inspect. We had thorough inspection with a side-by-side explanation and felt confident with his assessment. We bought it.He's professional, personable and great knowledge of building codes and construction work.If you play your cards right, he'll even let you go into the attic and crawl space. From the initial call which was responded to in a very timely fashion, to a very thorough home inspection which revealed a roof leak that had actually compromised the brick on the side of the home we were purchasing.Jamie uncovered 5 major defects that would of gone unnoticed if I had done the inspection myself.The roof was only 3 years old but obviously not done properly and I was able to amend my closing with the vital information that Jamie included in his fully detailed report.I was never a big believer in home inspections being in the trades myself and thinking I new enough to do an inspection on my own.I will never purchase another property without using the services of Inspec Homes.Cheers Jamie
