Churchill Seniors Recreation Centre

This Recreation Center has a very nice dance floor for bi-weekly tea dance parties (every 1st and 3rd Wednesday between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm) with a good sound system.Excellent management for seniors' programs. Front desk staff is always nice!

wonderful location, great venue for events. limited space in the parking lot but plenty of street parking.

The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. Small parking area but other street parking around. Has lots of weekly classes/groups happening, and a gym. We went to the ukulele sing and play group which is fun.

Contra dances every second saturday starting at 7 30 pm! All ages above 9 are Welcom!

My parents both go to exercise, and zumba here.The rent out several rooms for private functions. We have attended a Celebration of Life here, and a 66th Wedding Anniversary here. Easy for people with mobility challenges. Parking at back. Ramp accessible.

The centre has good programs, accessible facilities and the friendliest staff in Ottawa. The Monday afternoon duplicate bridge is lots of fun.

Churchill Seniors Centre is a good community centre that takes care of the seniors in Ottawa! We are grateful to the Churchill management and their staff there!The centre has many activities offered to the seniors - line dancing, bi-weekly tea dance (1st and 3rd Wednesday every month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm), yoga, etc.

Hi.I gave these hairpins (a spindly 8 cm stem with two leafs that are 1.5 cm each fanning out at the top} to the staff at the Churchill Seniors Center in Ottawa. I asked the staff to wear them that day. I think Janet, Anita, Caroline, Laura and Jan who runs the meditation and drum circle did so. Maybe others went along with it, I'm not sureThis hairpin is so lightweight that the wearer forgets that it is on their head. Janis liked hers so much she wore two. Anita went to a meeting with hers, Laura our ukelele coordinator forgot about hers also and both went about their other activities outside the center wondering why people were staring at them.Nice bunch of happy, positive people. Mission accomplished.

Attended my first Contra dance Ottawa here, discovered that there was parking in the back/side but uncertain how to find parking lot currently
