Ordered takeout. They sent the entirely wrong items, one moldy. Called and the *extremely* rude waitress tried to argue that I ordered incorrectly (looking at my receipt that had the correct items as I wanted them) and that I messed it up, then trying to convince me the green fuzz around the border of the takeout container is added blue cheese. Out $30 because I couldn't get a refund from Skip The Dishes for incorrect moldy food and terrible service. Disgusting.Edit for reply: Yes after hours of my day and three chat agents I got a refund. I implore customers to check the health board reviews before they dine here as they are public and this restaurant has never passed a recent one. They also have their employees acting downright foolish on social media and they are a true embarrassment for this place. Being locally owned is not an excuse for the several things that went wrong here. If you are looking for good local eats, check out Crafted 1885, The Barrel, Southsides, Happy Jacks or honestly anywhere but here.

We went last night and literally waited 1 complete hour for our food to come out. Soups didn't come out first like they should have, the french onion soup came in a big round bowl instead of the standard french onion soup dish. The clam chowder soup had a film on the top and both soups were cold. The burger tasted like it was boiled with absolutely no taste. The server we had was doing the best he could (it was his first night). We had to ask after 1/2 hour for our drinks which were water and coffee. Lady that was not our server was very nice and the waiter was nice but the owner was less to be desired. He berated our young server saying it was his fault the food was cold and left us with the impression that he would be paying for half the bill because the owner charged us only 36.00 rather than 66.00. It is for that reason we will not go back. You don't talk to your staff in that manner in front of customers. Not to mention, the food itself did not taste good and that falls on the owner who did the cooking. The clam chowder was tasty and the french onion soup and garlic bread and cheese were good with the exception of the soups being cold. We feel he overcharged us even with the 1/2 off considering we left all the food on the plates. This place has the potential to being a good eatery if they had more cooks and took better care in what they were cooking. Also, the last few reviews have been very low so the owner might want to step back and read the reviews.

Went there on Wednesday night for dinner, waitress forgot one of our parties drinks, my husband order wings and was shorted on his order. The waitress didnt do anything to fix the situation. She never came to check on us until we waved her down to ask for our bill which we waited for almost 20 min. Asked gor a takeout container and never received it had to take our left overs in the basket liner. Also called to talk to the owner about our visit and service but never received a call back...hence the review on google!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the service and the food was excellent. We had just come from the breakfast beacon where we were ignored waiting for a table for over 10 min. We were welcomed and served promptly at this restaurant. I had an omelet and my dad really enjoyed his pecan apple salad with a lovely chicken breast on top. I must admit I hadn't been in a few years because i didn't have a good experience but the new chef impressed and the new menu has alot of choices. We will be back forsure.Thanks for being polite and kind..it costs nothing to be friendly.

For a completely empty restaurant side and less than a handful of patrons on the bar side, the food surpassed my expectations. For the price point, the portions were large, and the quality was impressive. The Philly steak was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had.The atmosphere may be totally different on a busy day or bar night, but the pieces of flimsy paper that did not quite cover the surface as booth and table coverings just didn't work, in my opinion.The most unnerving thing was the fact that the main door to the small, 2 stall washroom was blocked open, affording no real privacy from anyone entering the restaurant.Very minor issues truthfully, especially for the excellent quality of the food.

If you want good service go when Jen is working. Both Christina and Shelley were terrible. Shelley will serve you while chatting on her cell phone with a miserable attitude and Christina ignores you most of the time. Love the place but those employees are terrible. Karaoke was great! Been here many times and Jen is great!

Had a very unpleasant experience with a server named Jennifer. Called to complain about the moldy food that was served and was not only berated over the phone but also online where she continued her nasty attitude. Was also caught talking trash about other employees at the bar while the food was being picked up. All over wouldn’t recommend this place that clearly needs better customer service and better food quality.

First time there. Seemed ok at first. Food took forever to get to our table. My meal was not prepared as ordered. Had to redo a portion of it. My wife's meal was pulled pork and there were 2 long hairs inside the sandwich. We complained to the waitress and all she did for us was discount 15%. Our opinion, my wife's meal should have been totally discounted. Mine should have been partially discounted. Who wants someone else hair in their mouth. Absolutely wrong way to treat people. If your considering this place, please reconsider. You will have done yourself a favour.

Ordered fish and chips. Server was prompt and friendly. Fries were perfect without needing extra salting!! Fish was really good. Server brought me a generous helping of lemon for my fish when I ordered extra!! Above and beyond. Atmosphere was laid back which I like.. no pressure!! Price was great fish portions were perfect and really tasty too!!!
