Goose Spit Park

Goose Spit Park in Comox BC is a beautiful and serene location that is perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway on Vancouver Island's coast. I recently visited the park with my girlfriend for a refreshing spring dip in the ocean, and we were thoroughly impressed by the beauty of the park.The park boasts stunning views of the water and the surrounding mountains, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing and photography. The long and sandy beach offers ample space for sunbathing, relaxing, or even swimming, although the water may be a bit chilly in the springtime.One of the standout features of Goose Spit Park is its well-maintained facilities, including washrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of parking. The park is also home to several trails that wind through the forested areas, providing ample opportunities for hiking and exploring.Overall, I highly recommend Goose Spit Park for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful destination to visit in Comox BC. The combination of stunning views, a long and sandy beach, and excellent facilities make it a must-visit location for both locals and tourists alike.

It's an alright spot to walk around the spit, or standup paddleboard in the bay. You will likely see a couple seals. On rare occasions whales/orcas will travel by, but not as close as other spots in the area (ex: Point Holmes, Kye bay, etc). The main spit stretch is littered with logs, rocks, and tree debris, so it's recommended to not walk around bare foot. The bay side is also horrible for flip flops, as the sand is pretty muddy and will suction most footwear as you step onto it.The hook of the spit has a beach that is apparently referred to as Little Mexico" - as the sand is nicer. The water in the bay area isn't as clear as the shore side.Overall this area is a nice place to jog

Over-rated! Pebbles Beach. Nice views, though, but fewer shades and not much space on either side of the strip.

Great spot to watch the sun set over the mountains! We enjoyed watching the seal in the water swimming around and giving us a show. There was a bit of litter along the shoreline unfortunately. But all in all its awesome there.

What a great spot to relax. The tide was out the day I visited, and there was so much beach to walk on!

I love goosespit. It's my favourite beach for going and hanging out with my buddies during summer, and it's very nice to swim in the water!

Lovely place to walk along the beach. Cannot enter military area but that ok. Lots of water sports to watch and sandy beach for deck chair relaxations.
