A must visit in Vancouver. The Orca is great but the views in the backdrop are simply amazing.

Entrance to get closer to the sculpture was closed off so we could only get pictures from afar and had to move around to get an okay shot to be able to make out the orca

Very beautiful and unique it was a great time to stop during dinner on a cloudy day it was nearly empty so we got some great shots.

It truly is bigger than you can imagine. What a beautiful piece of art - located outside the Convention Centre which is beautiful on its own to visit. Home of the ‘Drop’ sculpture which is shown in the photos. Facing the water, you can watch as seaplanes take off every 15 minutes for tours. Beautiful to watch.ENSURE TO ENTER FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BUILDING - as it is located on one of the upper decks and can be tricky to find as there are several levels below. Photos attached

Such a simple and cute statue but the highlight for me has to be the mountains as the backdrop. If you’re in the area I would 100% recommend you check it out.I’m sure it’d look better in the summer but I loved the pics I took and glad I went.

Blocked constantly for events that aren’t even using the space. The management of this outdoor space is horrible at their job and it makes the waterfront worse.Find a new person to run this thing.

Digital Orca is a striking public sculpture located in Vancouver, Canada. Designed by artist Douglas Coupland, it is a digital interpretation of a killer whale made from 3D pixels. The use of technology and vibrant colors create a unique and visually appealing piece of art that stands out against the surrounding landscape in Vancouver BC Canada

One of the cutest statues in all of Vancouver! This area has a beautiful view of the water and it’s fun to watch the sea plans take off. You can also watch huge cruise ship dock and take off. Overall worth the stop if your walking from Gastown.

This location was built as a helicopter take off and landing location or a heli pad. The crosswinds and ocean currents are ideal for marine and aerial navigation. The orca has been digitalized and could be downloaded as an image file using an electronic device.Overall.. it tasted very crunchy.. can't wait to sleep in it again

One of the coolest statues I've ever seen. I liked the digital aspect of it, very creative and speaks of the times we're living in. Definitely worth checking out.
