Les Sherman Park

This park was beautiful. Spent some time here with friends for Canada day celebration picnic and had a wonderful time. Not so many bugs too which is amazing for the summer time.

There is a Senior Citizens Center, also Neil Bockwell Arts center. They have a little courtyard too.There are 3 ball diamonds and free parking.There is a soccer field. A bike path that runs through the park. You can find some benches to take a break. There is a place for the kids to play. There are a slid,swings,etc.. also there is some pieces of art around. I like the big turtle it's unbelievable. Lots of open space for you to do your thing.

Urban green space offering ball fields & a batting cage, plus a playground & hiking/biking trail. Park is huge and so green . It has several murals there of turtle and squirrel. The 4 chair see saw was a hit .The ground was lush green filled with dandelions. There were so many never seen such kind of ground before.

Actually, I was looking for a 'natural place' to do a shoot, and Google brought me here. Errrhm. Just to say we have cool parks in my neighborhood too, driving this far wasn't necessary. But I came here and found those slides and swings and the kids loved the seesaw and all that. It's clean sort of but someone left their half eaten pie and some dog wanted to get it. Lovely scenery, and that river or water body...totally scenic!

I found this monkey hanging in a tree when I was there last. That was pretty cool.Other than that I love the park, it's very fun to bike on with it's paths.It's clean, serene, and beautiful, especially being next to the river.I would go here more often but given that I live in South-Central Regina, I don't typically go here.

It was awesome I loved it and the grandkids loved it even more!

Great kids play structures, the park is well maintained, very nice space

Way back in the day I used to live near this park. The walking paths are very well maintained. I used to run on the path but the only thing that was a bit annoying is the amount of bicycle traffic going back and forth. Even people who had powered bicycles would ride on the paths.Given that there is no visible law saying “walking path only” it probably means it’s a free for all. The biggest issues I found with this park is the smell of the creek. That creek can be real smelly sometimes.There are a lot of activities one can do at this park. There is a soccer/footbal field, and a practice baseball field. There is a good play structure for younger kids as well as a virtual Pokémon gym with spawn stops. The bridge is also a nice addition to the scenery and provides a nice view of the smelly creek. After being exposed to so much of the bad smells from the creek I don’t like the park as much anymore haha.

When my children were young they came here to play and loved it! Now they have developed it more and so many more young children can come to enjoy this park.

What a wonderful park. As a family walking through this area I could not believe all the wildlife ... never, muskrat, ducks, etc. I was disappointed that I didn't bring my good camera and just used my phone. A wonderful park it is.
