Positive Start Dog Training

Holly at Positive Start is amazing!!! She created a tailored plan for my fearful rescue dog, who was adopted at 7 months, and helped train ME to be a better owner. My dog Kira was leash reactive, and she worked with us to train a calm, more confident pup! Kira now knows her bed, to wait for her food, and to sit for her vet visits! Thank you Holly!

Let me start by saying I would have never gotten a dog in the first place if it wasn't for Holly! I have never had a pet in my life and after my kids(and husband) had been asking for a dog for years, I finally agreed to at least consider the idea. My friend told me about Positive Start Dog Training, and I gave Holly a call. She spoke to me for over an hour and answered all my questions, and when we hung up I was like ok

This was the best decision we have made to help build our relationship with our puppy! Many of the frustrations that we had as early dog owners disappeared after the first 4 days of training with Holly! By the time we have finished the program, everything we have loved about our dog was magnified, because Holly both taught him and us how to interact with each other (even during the trying puppy days!). After the first meeting with Holly, we felt so comfortable and assured that our puppy would be going to a home with someone who would care for him, just as much (if not better) than how we were able to! We could not be happier with how the whole process went! We researched many training options and we picked this one for the one on one attention, both for our puppy but with us as dog owners as well. Through this program, we are much better dog owners, he is a much better dog, and would highly recommend this program to those with a new puppy or one you are trying to ease frustration with! Holly was a dream come true for our family. She helped us with our Boxer by listening to our concerns, observing us, making a plan for us to follow and demonstrating how to enact the plan. She came to our home multiple times to see us and our dog in his normal environment which was very valuable. She was available by phone, text, and email when needed or if we just wanted to give updates and share the progress. She gave us the tools we needed to be successful and we were able to use those tools to train and continue to train Duke. We are very happy that we met Holly.
