I was dumb and didn't notice my amp wasn't plugged into a surge protector, so it got fried during a major storm. I brought it to these guys and they took a couple days to get back to me with the diagnosis. At this point I gave them the go-ahead to start the repairs and order the part they needed and they emailed me a couple weeks later to say it was done. They were courteous, polite and got the job done. My amp works great now and they give a 90 day guarantee on their work. I will update this review if anything changes.

Very knowledgeable staff. They repaired my NAD C370. I've got it back just today. I will test it for few weeks and update my review accordingly. For now, very recommended.Update: All is good. The amp sounds even better than when I originally got it some 15 years ago. The capacitors they use are better than the original parts, which can explain the sound improvement.Well done.

Got them removed from the ESPON support website.Do not bring anything to these people. I was nice and polite throughout the whole process of my repair, once I got my projector back, I had a new issue that wasnt there before. Tried to contact to bring it back.. they moved address and do not return any phone call, or emails, just crickets. Now I have to ship my projector out of city and pay the diag fee of 100$ again to have a problem fixed by someone else. Epson won't help either.

I took 4 of my 25-year-old Energy Connoisseur piano-gloss-black speakers in for a tune up at Hi-Tronics as they had been recommened by The Audio Shop. Clearly over the years some looseness had occurred in the cabinets and drivers. When I picked them up they were all tightly wrapped with lots of shrink wrap...a good sign I thought. When I got them home and unwrapped them I immediately noticed a huge gash in the top of one speaker, a slightly crushed corner on another, a dent in a tweeter membrane and scratches all over the front of all 4 speakers that mean I can never show them without the front grilles on. These may be cosmetic issues but none of them were present when I droppped the speakers off. I am extremely particular about everything I own and my audio components are no exception. While I appreciate the fact that they appear to sound better than when I took them in, my 25 year old speakers that had looked exactly the same as the day I bought them now look like they've been in a room full of toddlers. I know that few people are as careful with fine things as I pride myself on being, but there's no excuse for this.

They helped me put together my dream system. All vintage equipment that has been professionally restored to look new. The quality of the work and attention to detail is incredible. Hai and his team were extremely helpful and the final product blew me away. If you love vintage audio equipment this is the best place in town!

I called the number here (just clicked on it) and they said they don’t do anything with cars at all and they’re not a car audio place. He even said “hi tronics” when he picked up the phone.

They did a great job refurbishing my barely-working Carver M500 amp and C-1 preamp. They work and look like new, sound is fabulous. Cost of the repair was not cheap but very reasonable considering the vintage nature of the Carver components. I'd recommend them based on my experience.

Whether you deal with Hi-Tronics in-shop or online, expect nothing other than false promises and lies. I purchased a VERY rare Revox A78 Amplifier from them, and they sat on my money for 28 days straight without sending my purchase to me. Every excuse in the world was made as to why they could not send the amp to me. Finally, 28 days into this fiasco, after dodging my call attempts and messages for a several days (supposedly due to yet another family emergency")

They were really friendly and courteous. I brought in my 15 year old Bose wave radio to get fixed. Luckily they had the part in their storage rather than wait for it to be delivered. Really happy with the sound. I have an emotional attachment to this radio so I was really happy that they brought it back to life. Thank you.
