H&R Block

45 minutes late and still not open. Very unprofessional

I filed here with my husband last year and found out this year there were numerous errors made that meant we owe money to the government that should have never been owed. The customer service is terrible and everyone in there is shady to say the least. Theresa McKay who did our taxes for last year was so bad that she couldn’t even copy and paste our numbers correctly, mine and my husband’s addresses were different when entered into the system, my RRSP contribution wasn’t included in my return when processed, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. All in all once we filed this year and were notified of how poorly everything was done it really just seemed like this location was out to scam their customers. Do not ever go to this location and before booking with H&R ask if they’re a franchise location or not; go for the non franchise! We did our taxes this year with the Fraser Hwy location and they were unreal and very easy to understand! Definitely go there for Langley.

Muhui Quan make my tax return easy. She suggested me with good options, guide me through every single step. So nice in talking and dealing with customers. I recommend her for sure if you are taking h&r

This place has lost our business. Front desk is incredibly rude about putting on a mask (not mandatory anymore) and told my wife and 5 year old daughter to stand outside in the rain to fill out her paperwork!! Horrible! This isn't even the first complaint about this. Do better, or get better people. They are not representing the brand properly.

I have been going to this H&R for the last three years and have only had good experiences, always a comfortable atmosphere and they accomodate people who have young children with them as they have entertainment for the kids. CB is the one who has done my taxes each year and i can say she is always happy and makes doing taxes a great experience! I will be back next year forsure!

I will never enter this office again. The front desk girl was beyond rude. The way she asked me to put on a mask ( which wasn’t mandatory at the time) was unbelievably unprofessional. She was a right snot!!! I work for a big corporation and if any front line employee treated a client the way she did….wow! Wouldn’t put up with it. The person at the front desk is a customers first impression of a company, this woman gave a terrible vibe. I’ll make sure to tell all my friends and family not to deal with H&R Block. Disgusting service.

I stopped in the office by appointment on March 19th, to file for the U.S. and Canada. My U.S. tax return remains unfiled, and it is now May 8th. I have made three attempts over the past month to contact the representative that I worked with. Two emails, over a week apart from each other, and a phone call to the office where staff took my name and number to have the representative call me back have generated no return contact. This is terribly frustrating and unprofessional conduct. I can't just not file, and am likely to be penalized for filing late.

This is my first year preparing tax return in Canada as I’m an international student. I heard that there is a free of charge software available however from my point of view dealing with taxation and its laws let tax professional handle it. They will give you maximum benefits and peace of minds. And it worth.

I have Delt with Ms. Brown at this location for years. She is AWESOME. She does not work there and the staff would not tell me where she went. They ALL said they did not know. All the original staff went to Aldergrove. I phoned arround till I found her. GO TO ALDERGROVE.

I've been going to the Aldergrove branch for a few years to do my as well as my mother's taxes. The service has always been prompt and thorough, no matter how disorganized I am.
