Silver Cove: Red Deer

I stopped shopping at my local Silver Cove as I started finding the environment kind of awkward there. The personal nature of the conversations some staff members would have with each other or other customers at the store made the shopping experience a tad awkward and uncomfortable.My partner is a big fan of the original Red Deer location and we did originally discover Silver Cove years ago when they were at their old location in Red Deer.My shopping experience was very uplifting as we found the environment welcoming, calm and pleasant. The staff members here were very kind and helpful. The store significantly has more display presentation and it was really much more easier to navigate. I really like how stones are grouped and categorized together in their own cases.I only docked a star because of the inaccessible pricing of some items. For example, grade A prices for stones which were not of that grade. I've been collecting and shopping for gemstones for the past 20 years, so it's just my personal opinion-take it or leave it.I spent a good amount of money here and I'm already wanting to go back. I feel like the drive here will be worth it every time I want to visit Silver Cove. I'm really happy that this location has all the factors which made me fall in love with this store when I discovered them 6 years ago: warm customer service, great variety and transparency in their products.

Terrific selection and great staff. A myriad of gift ideas. Reasonable pricing. For those complaint about a mask then shop online. Its a shame that a good business is being ranked low due to that reason. I’ll be back for nice thoughtful gifts for others or myself!

The owners of this establishment are absolutely disgusting in the way they treat there staff and ex employees. I've seen first hand them yelling at employees infront of customers and other employees. They disclose medical information and slander ex employees. Do not support this business it's disgraceful how they treat people.Edit/replySo you're telling me that I can't have my own opinion on a shop I've been too? Also this is not slander it's the truth and I stand by it. I've seen it first hand and so have others nice try ☺️ super immature that you would call me a liar and talk smack about anyone who worked for your company. I will definitely be telling anyone and everyone who supports this place the truth about how you handle your business and customers and employees. Freedom of speech is not slander.

Coolest store I've ever been in, love the vibes. Convenient online auctions and classes offered in store. Quality products, great prices.

I can not say enough good things about silver cove. Their online live auctions are run by the absolute most amazing kind hearted people I’ve ever had to pleasure of dealing with a couple that I have had the pleasure of dealing with is Kylee and Callie, I don’t say this lightly they are 100% amazing people! Their staff behind the signs for billing have been wonderful. Really love this company and their employees can’t wait to go in person to the store.

The owners have enormous egos and do NOT value their customers. I've spent thousands of dollars at Silver Cove and they wouldn't replace or refund a 25 dollar pendant that turned black after wearing it once. Another time I recieved a broken crystal and Chris was very rude about me wanting a refund (it was a $20 dollar piece) I've actually tallied up my receipts from there and I've spend well over 7 grand supporting that business.Edit: The replies to my concerns were from Chris the owner. He stated his name and who he was, along with a detailed and condescending explanation as to why my crystal arrived broken. I won't ever support this business again.

Wish I had taken a few more photos of this place to communicate how big it actually is. It’s big. Great browsing experience. Wish we had a place like this near where I live.

A truly wonderful place to visit along with incredible staff - worth checking out if heading to Red Deer!

You could spend hours in there and still be amazed around every corner.
