BGM Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship College a.k.a. B.G. McPherson Training Center

I had the privilige of being a student at B.G. McPherson Training Center. I really enjoyed my time spent there learning the trade. The instructor was always very helpful and informative. There was never an issue that wasn't able to be solved. For anyone wanting to get their foot in the door into a trade that is always in demand, I highly recommend checking this school out. The administration is always willing to lend a hand to help you out with whatever you need, whether it's helping you develop a stellar resume, or helping you explore the job market. There was always a good balance of shop time and classroom theory. I found an apprenticeship immediately after taking the course. My employer was very pleased withmy performance, and the skills that I learned while attending my pre-apprenticeship electrician program at B.G. Mcpherson Training Center.

Had an amazing time at BGM. They give you the knowledge and skills that you need to become an electrical apprentice. Smaller class sizes really made a difference in how the course was taught, Bill was able to provide more help to anyone that was struggling. Also, how the course was half in class and half hands on made a huge difference in how we learned! Learning something on paper and then seeing how it worked and how it was applied really helped me out! Would highly recommend to any looking to get in the electrical trade.

Before I took the course at B.G.M. I had never even stripped a wire. I learned an incredible amount in the 12 week full time course and afterwards they even helped me find an apprenticeship. I would recommend this course to anyone.

My time at BGM was very productive. Getting back into school after working for years was a challenge but I was able to succeed. I struggled in the initial stages, but my Instructor was able to help me along the way. Everyday was a learning curve, which is what made me want to achieve my goal. The hands on was very important, because it tests your knowledge on what you have learned in the theory part of class. I was able to get hired shortly after graduating because of the knowledge I received and the support of the staff. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Bill and Amy not only taught me the knowledge and hands-on skills of the electrical trade, but also the discipline of being a competent asset to the company I now work for. Thanks BGM!!
