Faye Peterson House

Faye Peterson House helped me through a TREMENDOUSLY difficult chapter of my life. I came to them during covid; broken, afraid and hopeless and weary. I was surprised by how quickly I felt safe and the humanity they shared throughout my entire stay. (And not a single covid outbreak!) I needed help and they were there for me. It was clean, calm and comfortable and the food was delicious and nutritious. While there they helped me find a new home, gifted me some basic needs to start over and then supported me as I transitioned out of Faye and into my new apartment. I left feeling dignified and more empowered to face my new future. Months later Im still receiving support, advocacy and some counselling from their awesome outreach workers! For a women's shelter to do all this amazing work within the community and especially through a pandemic is truly life changing for me. I'll always hold this place in my heart and carry forward what's been so freely given to me. If I need help or someone to talk to, I know I can call them. I Seriously recommend Faye Peterson House to you if you need help and want to begin a life free from violence and abuse for yourself and (if) your children today!

For this place being a crisis home it's not what it appears to be

I'm thankful that I didn't have to go through this chaper of my life alone. Everything my baby and I needed was provided as well as many resources. The support, love, and compassion I received from all the staff was more than I could have hoped for! I will forever be grateful for my stay at the Faye Peterson house!<3

They dont really help you....which sucks.
