Fieldgate Homes Décor Centre

Overall it was a very terrible and frustrating experience at the design centre. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. I would never purchase from Fieldgate again, and I would recommend anyone I know not to purchase from them as well. Do yourself a favour and go with another builder!

Siamak was great and listened to our needs. We were on a limited budget and helped us work around it without any pressure. Ended up leaving spending more than we anticipated but we were provided the necessary guidance in order to make our decisions. 5 stars to Siamak for his patience and knowledge. Glad we got to work with him.

The person we talked to (Sai I think) answered all our questions and was very helpful with his suggestions. He wasn't pushy and was very patient with us, despite our baby crying and being super fussy nonstop. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend.

I do not recommend Fieldgate especially their Decor Centre. I will never again purchase a home from this developer. They do not take responsibility for their errors and do not value their customers. Buyer beware. However, administrative staff member, Nadia, is the saving grace of this developer if you have any issues.

I had a chance to interact with Sia for my pre construction house in Cityside project. He is a great person and provided me with all the details I requested for. Very patient and helpful!

Be weary at your appointment, these people are the slimiest I have ever dealt with over the coarse of multiple home purchases. Details and upgrades were not being explained. One rep said to me and I quote well you didn't spend much money at your first appt. so I didn't think you want to spend any today". POS. Ask questions and review you papers before signing."

Siamak is very knowledgeable,very patient and responsive person.He helps me lot in all issues for selecting decor items. He is very calm never rush you .I have very good experience. I like his service.

We bought our pre con in 2019, The decor experience was absolutely terrible, we had to view the samples in poor lighting behind plexiglass barrier. We weren’t even given samples to take home and look at in natural lighting. A lot of our choices looked white or cream in the decor centre but were yellow when installed and in natural light. Be very careful when picking your colours and don’t feel pressured to make a decision immediately. Most builders allow you to come a couple times to the decor centre however feildgate does not. Originally I thought Siamak was okay to deal with until we got the keys to our house. We specifically asked him to leave the fixtures out of the washrooms (toilet paper and towel holder) since they were super ugly and cheap as they were made out of plastic. Once we arrived they were all installed and it was such a terrible process removing them since most of the drywall came out with the fixtures due to how they were glued on. We also asked for the closet units to be left out and they were installed, they were also very difficult to remove since they used a ridiculous amount of nails and staples. We asked for some of our outlets to be raised and they also weren’t. All of these requests were agreed upon. My piece of advice is to triple check your requests or to ask to record the meeting. We brought up all these issues and Siamak denied we even requested them.
