why we will never deal with the scotia bank everbranch lady very nice we were needing some euros she said they did not have any and to please go to there orchard location as she had phoned the other day and they had lots we proceeded there and were told as we were not customers they would not sell us any euros for our trip

Excellent customer service. Chris was able to get us an emergency financial planning meeting to update some information for my Uncle who is a senior and was very worried about Covid exposure. Our visit was very efficient and Chris was able to take care of everything we had on our to do" list in a very timely manner. Very impressed with this level of support and customer service."

Mostly great staff, most are very helpful and friendly.One BIG issue customers have is accessing the outside ATM!! TOO LOW, even for short people. Glare on the screen makes it difficult to use. One gentleman had to get down on one knee to use it!!! BNS doesn't care and won't fix the issue!!!! SHAME ON BNS.

Need to call my banking person at the branch, but there is no local number anymore, now I have to wait 45 minutes for someone in a call centre in Ontario to answer the phone and transfer me to the local branch, HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING!!Apart from this everyone at the branch are really awesome!!! Like super friendly and helpful. Scotiabank really is the best bank I’ve ever dealt with, highly recommended!! (Except for the phone thing, they need to fix that)

Unbelievable horrible experience with this bank. I am fed up with this bank 100% first the horrible service with one of the tellers who fudged with my account now I can't cash my check without a hold on them. Been with them for years and this is how I am treated as a loyal customer???? I went to two Scotia Banks in kelowna because the Rutland one was closed.... wasted 40 dollars in fuel because of one teller messing with my account in the Rutland branch....... I also have a 2 day penalty on my rent now that I have to pay.... so all in all Scotia Bank Rutland you have cost me 280 dollars all because of the teller at your branch who has something against me or the company I work for...... thank you so very much. .... absolutely the worst banking experience I have ever in my 37 years ever experienced ....... ruined alot of time for me now..... rectification ??? Doubt that will ever happen for me...... I am now wanting a meeting with the bank manager and I want rectification on this matter. I am beyond upset over this. How can one teller screw up all my banking by clicking certain things on my account and being so smug about it????

Terrible service at this bank. My main branch is in Alberta, but we recently moved to BC and my branch that deals with my business is in AB. I needed to send legal documents to the Alberta Branch, and when I went into this branch 2 tellers argued about how busy they were and asked me to leave the documents so they could do it “later”. I explained why it was important to get the task done today and they brushed me off as though they didn’t care. Not only was it unprofessional for them to argue and glare at each other in front of me, the branch is now closed and the branch in Alberta has contacted me to let me know my time sensitive legal documents have not been received. Unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. Do not use this branch.

This is the worst bank I've ever been with. They hold random amounts of my money as they please then are never open to get it resolved. I have a 500 check deposit limit and put a check in for 350 2 days later they will hold 250 and make me go to my bank to release the money. I have a small company so having my money held for no reason really makes getting to work terrible.

Atm down again I’ve told them several time about the drive thru atm but nothing is ever done .you can’t use the atm after they’re closed the door won’t open this has been going on for at least 4 years now very inconvenient and what even more disappointing is I’ve been a customer at this branch for over 40 years ..for all the money they make off their customers like record profits this should not be happening all I can say is that it’s a total FAIL!!!

Buisness hours are 6.5 per day. Claim 24 hr atm services but more often than not doors are locked and drive through out of service leaving you unable to withdrawl funds. Ive went into the branch to give forms to transfer investment funds which magically dissapeared off the face of the earth. Horrible service at best.
