They did take really good care of my sister dog. I just think Newfoundland needs a Veteran Watch Dog like they do in most other provinces. The prices are ridiculous. Absolutely no reason for it! Most provinces have a Watch Dog Committee sat up in order to make fair pricing and cap some surgical costs. On the way to the vet, Newfoundlanders are also being taken to the cleaners.

My last visit to this vet was my last visit ..was definitely not a good experience...I decided not to put me or my dog through that humiliation again...my dog means more to me than the treatment they give !!!

I highly recommend this vet clinic for all your pet's needs. They took great care of our dog Jack for his whole life, and he had a great one. If I ever find that I am a dog mom again, I will bring them here too. In eleven years, I never had a single complaint.

We drove from Eastport area to bring in our puppy for his 2nd shot and also brought our 3 year old dog to introduce him the the place. This was on April 25. I got lost in Clarenville and Scott (front desk) provided directions to Milton. We had a great experience as Dr. Hunt took the time to explain things to us. When both dogs feel comfortable being there, it is a good sign. Coincidentally, while socializing with our neighbor after the vet visit, he mentioned that Dr. Hunt saved the life of one of his dogs in the past. We look forward to bringing in the dogs back in May and getting to know the rest of the staff.

This vet was so rude to me during my first visit there. She reduced me to tears. When trying to find advice for my cat, she made me feel so stupid and as If I was being judged. She would cut me off trying to finish my sentences like she knew what I was going to say. An absolutely terrible experience. This vet has zero empathy for her paying customers. If you're looking for a vet that wants to hear what you have to say and is super understanding I suggest you give The Clarenville Vet Hospital a call! 466-1877

We called in a bit of a panic. We were visiting the area from the main land and our senior doggo was suddenly having some urinary tract issues. The vet in Milton was able to get us in the same day as we called. Once we arrived they quickly gave us a specimen catcher and tested his urine. Sure enough they identified that he had a urinary tract infection and sent us on our way with medication and the care knowledge. The vet was fantastic and was even able to help us out with some of his previous health history. They even called to check-in on how he was doing.
