We bought our first car in Canada. I have never been so frustrated with a dealership in my life. I have had countless of frustrating experiences with them and my experience yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. First of all, you can NEVER get through to the service department. I sat on hold 3 times for 10 minutes a piece to try and get ahold of them, left a voicemail (and never heard back) and finally had to have the receptionist take a message and get the service department to call me back. This took up about half a days time just to book an appointment. I ended up booking a car detailing package (worth $299) and a seasonal tire change over. After waiting 2 weeks for the appointment I showed up to my appointment only to be told that their car detailer had a family emergency and they wouldn't be able to do the detailing. I was told I could rebook both services and come back next week and that they'd give me my tire changeover for free. I'm a reasonable person, I get that people have family emergencies however, what I don't get is how a dealership doesn't call the customer beforehand to warn them they wouldn't be getting the service that they booked. Not only do I live 45 minutes away from the dealership, I had to take a full day off work so that I could attend the appointment (that was supposed to be 4-5 hours long). Had the dealership called me in the morning when they knew of the family emergency I could have reschedule, not wasted my time and gotten a full 8 hours of work done (instead of 0 hours, earning $0). Every time I am at this dealership my time is wasted (one time I dropped my car off for the day and told them I would need a rental car for the day (a service I was paying for and told them about in advance) and when I got there one of their employees had taken the rental car home the night prior and hadn't brought it back yet - seriously!?!). Every ounce of me wants to find somewhere else to go. Kamloops Mazda leaves me feeling like they do not value their vehicle owners.

Really impressed with the No-nonsense approach of Kamloops Mazda. The team that the GM Justin has built is top notch. The buying experience was easy and honest. The team fully disclosed the work that had been completed on our gently used car purchase to get it in its best shape. The customer experience is great. Our family would absolutely go back to Kamloops Mazda

I just want to schedule an oil change. Email twice, ghosted, no response, nothing. Ok, so I drove down to the dealership, well, 5pm they closed their system so I was told to leave a number they will call me back. Been two days, no calls, nothing. Mazda cars are good, just the services from this dealership has been giving real bad impression. ByeBye, never again.

Mazda needs to work on staffing for the service department. It took months to get the appointment, poor service department was overwhelmed and couldn't call me back to book to get my tires and oil changed. I ended up getting my breaks done as well because who knows when Id be able to get in. Once I was there, staff was nice but it shouldnt be difficult to just make an appointment. Wish I lived closer to a different mazda as they told me if I went anywhere else besides mazda my warranty is void. Again not a complaint to the staff but mazda should treat their service staff better so employees would want to stay and less turnover. Take the hint mazda.

Our recent vehicle service was followed up by a Kamloops Mazda representative for a customer survey and we offered a couple of improvement areas. Kamloops Mazda responded with an offer to help us on our next service, it was not expected. I seldom write these reviews but it was such a pleasant surprise that the company took customer feedback seriously and acted upon it. Impressed.

We had a great sales experience. No pressure. Quality information.We had a great financing experience. Concerned for our best options.What impressed me maybe the most was the follow up. Sometimes when you drive off the lot that is the end of it….It has not been that way with the care we have received from Jerry.He followed up with us and it was not just lip service. I brought up a mild concern I had and he went out of his way to make it right.His care has been beyond just selling us a car.Great experience. Great team. Great car.
