Silverton Dental Clinic

Unfortunately have to give a low rating for this dentist. We live in a neighbouring town (45 minutes away). Booked both me and my partner in for a check up and cleaning after moving back to the area. Hoping to make this our clinic going forward with the hope our family would be lifetime patients. We arrived to the clinic on time only to be told at 2pm that the power had been out since 10am. Being from the area I understand power cuts but it would have been nice to get a courtesy call to let us know before we made the drive. When we arrived the receptionist had started her calls for the afternoon patients, while we sat there, for the people after us even though the power had been out for four hours at this point. My partner and I sat in the dark waiting room as the staff discussed personal issues as well as ignoring another patient who arrived as they were too enthralled in their conversation to realize someone else entered the building. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting (2:45) we were sent home only to find out the power was restored at 3:10. We were promised a phone call the next day and that we would be prioritized for booking .. two days later and still waiting for that call. Booked into a dentist in Nelson with less wait, and headache. FYI waited over six weeks to get in only for this to happen.

A very good dentist, he will cut you a break if you're low income and don't have dental insurance. Almost half the cost as a dentist in Calgary.

Always extremely caring and compassionate staff. I hsce had MAJOR problems with my teeth for most of my life, and tge experiences are nothing less than traumatic. Dr. Wiseman and his team always make my experices a little better. I highly suffest this Dental clinic to anyone in the West Kootenays. Beautiful drive as well

My family has been going to Dr Wiseman since I was a child. Him and his staff are so kind, joyful, charming and so funny. They have made a world of difference creating an environment where my kids have felt safe and comfortable to go. My youngest has severe anxiety about dentists because of a previous visit at another clinic and since we started traveling to see Dr Wiseman again he has come to learn that his trust is worth the lil extra work. Dr Wiseman took the time to elaborate and explain in detail how freezing works and gave my son validation in his anxious feelings all while expertly easing his worries. While he still struggles with anxiety he has been able to sit in the dentist chair without instantly panicking and it's 100% because of Dr Wiseman and his incredible assistants giving my son the assurance he needs to be comfortable. I am so grateful for their patience and understanding and appreciate all of the care they put into nurturing patient wellness.

Dr Wiseman and his staff are grade a people who truly care about you. I saw bad reviews here and don't get it! Maybe the person had a broken tooth during vacation and was grouchy. I hate the dentist but have never had a bad experience here! And I had a root canal once!! They make everyone feel comfortable with what they are doing even if it's not a fun thing! We love Silverton Dental Clinic!!

Tim Wiseman and his staff are all top - notch. Had a fair amount of work done over two appnts a week apart - a couple extractions and several fillings. Would not hesitate to book with him again. He's professional, utterly competant and friendly. The office atmosphere is clean and modern. Thanks for everything guys!

I've had a phobia of dentists since I was a kid but I dont have any problem going to Dr.Wiseman. Great staff and a good atmosphere.

An absolutely fantastic dental clinic. I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Can't say enough about Dr. Wiseman and his staff. Very efficient, honest and friendly Dentist and Staff.

My husband and I just moved here and had a wonderful first cleaning and exam at Silverton Dental. From the administration to the CDA and the hygienist and dentist… the whole team went above and beyond. I was extremely pleased with how gentle yet thorough my cleaning was. I am so happy we became patients here and would highly recommend this clinic!
