What started as a miscommunication between the staff and myself about the turn around time for lens replacement was quickly resolved by the owner Isabelle, who went above and beyond to repair the communication breakdown. She quickly solved the issue by personally delivering the glasses outside of retail hours.Beautiful selection of high-end glasses with a modern, and contemporary design.

Visiting Montreal and walked into the store by chance. Fantastic suggestions from Isabelle. I know when someone is good. Bought two pairs of glasses and will send her my prescriptions once I returned home. Merci, Isabelle. It was lovely.

Luke was so friendly and was able to help me replace the nose pad on my glasses in a pinch. He was also able to guess my prescription just by looking at my lenses which was super cool! Thank you again!

Isabelle pulled out a series of cool frames that all worked well but was honest and professional in only recommending those that best fit my face and budget. She is charming and deeply knowledgeable about her brands and offers some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Very highly recommended for service, unique selection!

La Zone Optique is a glasses store on St. Denis that sells Mykita. Mykita designs and finishes their glasses in Berlin, Germany. I collect these glasses because the stainless-steel ones have over engineered hinges and have tinted glass. And I have been to two international cities that didn’t carry Mykita so La Zone Optique carrying Mykita does make it above some entire cities.I have had positive experiences speaking with my dealer, who is actually the owner. Her and I speak over email and she replies in real time. I also get emails on the weekend and txt messages over really small things. Obviously collecting glasses is really boring but if someone is collecting a specific brand for life having one store is ideal.I want to write a fair review with criticism to improve the store. I have never used the website until this review and expected it to be something to improve. That’s not the case, this website is easy to navigate, has photographs of glasses and doesn’t hide the Contact Us link. Which are the three points that’s makes my time less wasted.Colecting the glasses doesn’t matter because they’re just glasses. I had amazing comunication with my dealer and paid exactly how much I could afford at intervals that weren’t premeditated. My comunication was profesional but also very endearing (subjects in emails were funny). I get to speak to one person for my whole life and its through quick emails and texts. Which is actually such a premium experience and such a unique way of buying really expensive things.When I am dropping a grand for glasses and I don’t have to wait until work days to get a response the privileged experience I have becomes memorable and positive and exciting. And to be clear about this very specific way of business, it’s actually common for Chanel to give out phone numbers to talk to a Chanel employee through text about multi-thousand dollar rings for example. This is not common in general and takes a level of creativity and a type of attitude.I don’t think anyone is a serious Mykita collector if they’re not invested in their dealer as a person. It sounds too funny and exactly what I could have always wanted from this interest.My very first experience with La Zone Optique was in June 2020. I walked in and was greeted then I asked about a pair of glasses in the front window. My dealer moved a mirror outside and let me try my glasses in the light. Obviously, it was COVID-19 so it was so nice to be judging myself without a mask and in the sunlight. I think back to the amount of risk the dealer was taking on with the opportunity for me to have a better look at myself and why she did that in the first place. We spoke in the light and the opportunity I had to have the glasses on my face without an attitude that I had to take them off gave me a sense of what I might be like wearing those glasses. Very important, very understated and not always an opportunity given to a customer.My credit card is something I don’t want to have stolen. The atitude of the store about credit card information is an attitude that I am very happy with. My partial contributions towards the first pair of glasses weren’t all with the same card. It was either through a phone call, an email or a text that I exchanged my credit card information with La Zone Optique. I was actually recommended by my dealer to email half CC information and txt the other half. Obviously more secure than one portal of exchange. I felt like La Zone Optique cared about my credit card security more than I did. And more than I do because I actually don’t care about my security as much as I should but am nudged towards higher security than the most minimal level possible all the time. So, when I’m being careless my dealer is looking out for me, incredibly exactly what I wantWhen shipping, the packaging is eficiently packaged and sent genuinely promptly. A clear return address and receiving address is writen. If glasses are to be lost in transit the return adress is permanently writen and that is something I take seriously and cannot be understated enough.

Great service from the owner Isabelle and I never felt the pressure to purchase. In the end I purchased a pair and enjoyed the process as well. She also give lots of feedback about which glasses suit me better.
