I don’t know if this place changed ownership, it use to be incredible, very fair prices and I’ve never had any issues. I would not recommend this place now if you are on any kind of timeline. I had returned 3 times and my garment was still not ready. It was agreed upon a date to pick up and I paid and tipped upfront only to return on that day and asked to come back 3 separate times. Proceed with caution if you require your item by a certain date.

We took a suit in to get alterations. Wow! All I can say is THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! Did a phenomenal job! Will most definitely take items needing alterations again! She made a suit that we would have had to give away new again! A+++

Used to be a 5 star business, now less than 1 star for poor customer service and quality of work.In 2017 I used this service to have my wedding dress altered and my husband's wedding attire altered. The work was exquisite and the customer service second to none. The clothes fit us perfectly, the prices were fair, you paid a deposit and the rest after the work was done, and the owner reworked the items until perfection. I highly recommended this shop to all of my network. That since has changed.At the beginning of August 2022 I returned to this shop to have alterations completed on several garments. The staff member was new and the individuals that served me in 2017 were not there. I paid in full including a tip prior to alterations being made (there was no option to do a deposit and receive the finished products later). The customer service I received was incredibly poor. Not only were the items delayed by over a month, the individual kept putting me off when I tried to pick up my clothes over the duration of a month after they were long past due. They offered to drop my clothes off at my home but never did. They said they had opened all the seams and were nearly done. They made promises to have my work done by certain dates and didn't follow through. One day I tried picking up my items on a saturday when the shop was supposed to be open and they weren't there - when I called they said they were running 1.5 hours late. They lied when I picked up half my items saying the rest will be done in a day, and that the items I picked up had already been ironed (they weren't). I went to the shop and said I want to pick up what is remaining and get a refund for those items. They said they were almost done and that they had just opened up the seams and needed one day to finish (putting me off again). I was firm and said I am picking up the items now and getting a refund. They still kept trying to convince me to let them finish the items and would not take my no for an answer. When I finally received the items that weren't finished and the refund, the stitches were not opened like they said they were, meaning they hadn't even started on the work.In terms of quality of work, one of my items had the $15 alteration stitching fall apart when I tried it on (a dress), a pair of brand new expensive dress pants had alreration threading that was loose and puckered which ruined the garment, and my wool skirt has rips and holes in the alterations. I am still missing one skirt that was never returned to me. the staff person couldn't keep track of my items and asked me what I brought in everytime I went to pick them up.I am out $230, plus the original cost of the clothes, and the alterations were not done well. This is a case for the Better Business Bureau.

Minus 100 stars. Just don’t do it! On April 29th I dropped off 6 high end professional clothing items to be altered I just purchase spending $1,800. They were to be ready by May 6, 2023. I went to pick them up May 7 and the location was closed during hours of operation. The next week I returned 11 times each time finding the location closed. I was leaving work to do this. Finally on May 15 it was open during store hours. I was informed that none of the items were completed and was told they would be ready the next day. Went there the next day during store hours of coarse leaving work again and the location was closed. Today it was open at this point I just want my very expensive clothing back. Get this the owner could not find my items. I had to dig through piles of clothing. My $650 dress for my daughter graduation was crumpled in a pile not completed and pen marks all over it and filthy, my $500 suede suit jacket again crumpled up and there are marks all over that can not be removed. Dress and jacket are destroyed other items I might be able to salvage. My god the pant hems on three pairs of pants were not even complete after 17 days. Worst part the owner did not make any effort to call and provide an update, no apologies. Seriously just don’t. I am a single parent on a tight budget those items were to last me years and I now have no dress for my child’s graduation.

I brought my husband's designer pants to get hemmed based on the reviews I saw on google. During the transaction, the lady was playing a game on her phone while she was talking to us which I found to be extremely unprofessional. When I went to go pick up the pants a few days later, I noticed right away that an easy pants hem were all crooked and done in an extremely poor manner - it looked like they take no pride in their work at all. I was so stunned that a place that has 4.9 stars google review would do such a bad job. It was so bad that we had to take it to a different place to get it re-done costing us double the amount of money to get an easy hemming job done.I would give 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend this place.

When we when to this place at first the service and quality of work was excellent!Like the other Ladies , don’t know what has happened, quality has gone downhill!!!Same experience of they had was told it would be ready in a week, for my mom’s very expensive skirtit’s a month now and hasn’t been touched, they took my mom’s pants in and she’s not happy at all.The prices were more reasonable with I believe the other owners. Please don’t ruin any of your clothes by going there!

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought it was necessary so that hopefully no one has a similar experience in the future.I paid 65 dollars plus tax and a tip to have my dress hemmed and was told it would be ready for pick up two weeks later with a slip/receipt. All was fine, until I called the day before the dress was ready for pick up to let them know I had become sick and my mother-in-law would be picking up the dress for me. The lady said she couldn’t find the dress. She looked for it and called me back to say my friend had picked it up yesterday. I assured her this was not the case, even though she kept trying to convince me it was. Upon further investigation, she gave the dress (this is a dress that I needed as a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding next week) to someone else. She said her friend has the same name and she gave her the dress to take home without providing a slip. No compensation was offered for her mistake, just a “well she had the same name and almost same colour of dress” excuse with a “sorry - this hasn’t ever happened in ten years”. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said she was out of town and didn’t know when she would be back.To make matters worse, when I finally did get back the dress, it wasn’t hemmed properly. It had been cut…with scissors and was uneven and choppy.Please do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.

My maid of honour was supposed to pick up her dress from them today and this business is suddenly closed with no warning. My wedding is tomorrow morning out of town and she needs it today. She spoke with the owners yesterday who told her to pick it up today (Friday) during their business hours. She’s been calling all day with no answer and has waited outside the building and seeing other clients confused and panicked wondering why they’re suddenly closed. If it was an emergency they should have other employees working or at least let their clients know through a voicemail or note on the door. Very unprofessional by leaving their clients stranded.

A bridesmaid in my wedding party was to pick up her dress today and they are open from 10am to 6pm, but the doors are locked and no one is answering the phone or social media messages. Lots of customers were waiting outside their doors to get there stuff. Very unprofessional.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. On June 8th I dropped off pants and curtain panels to be sewn together and hemmed. One pair of pants needed to be taken in and hemmed for grad on June 24th. The pants were not ready on the date promised, so I had to go back a couple of days later. The day prior to grad I picked up the pants and the work was done so poorly the pants were not wearable. In the back of the pants where they were taken in they were puckered and bunched and made my son look like he was wearing a diaper. we had to go buy a new pair of pants and find another alteration business to take the new pants in. They had a second pair of pants that I wanted to just pick up put they were already taken apart to be altered so I left them to be finished. we needed these pants for convocation on June 27th. On June 25th there were not finished as promised and we were told they would be ready on June 27th in the morning. My son went to pick them up that morning and they still weren't ready. He was told to come back at 12:30pm (on the way to convocation). No surprise they weren't finished. Just went to pick up the drapes (July 27) and they still are not ready. Called yesterday and was told to come today. The service and work used to be good, but now would never recommend this business to anyone.
