Not recommended for ear piercing as well as for earrings as they do have quality products. They do not have any company policies for defective products. Most important, very bad customer service by manager.

Acting Manager needs an attitude adjustment and should consider treating not only her customers, but employees with more kindness! Would not recommend shopping OR working here until there is new management.

DO NOT GET ANY PIERCINGS HERE. Claire's is HORRIBLE. They use piercing guns which are awful for your skin (do some research) and most of the time the piercings are crooked.THERES A REASON THEYRE ALWAYS ON SALE!!!!!

It is terrible. I pierced my daughter's ears 3 weeks ago there. I wanted to replace the earing last night but I could not. I went there again and staff said the ear heal in 10 mins!!!! So I should pay again for a new piercing!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went to take my daughter to get her ears pierced and the lady we were speaking with was so rude and snippy. If you don't have patience for people lady you are in the wrong line of work... every time I'd try to ask a question she'd cut me off and get snippy. Completely unacceptable and WILL NOT be going back there.

Claires has nice stuff but today i went to go buy a little lip balm thingy . online it was like 12.50 and in store it was like 30 $ that is a SCAM!!!

My daughter loves this store so I'll include that as a positive note and why it gets the points it does.Most of the stuff is so cheaply made and so horrendously overpriced. You can get it at the dollar store or elsewhere for the same price, the costume jewellery would be better made.Even on sale I'd still look elsewhere but if you need a quick gift for a girl you'll find it here, even if your money doesnt go far.

I highly recommend NOT purchasing piercings here. And for the love of all that is good in this world DO NOT GET PEIERCINGS DONE BY CLAIRES! Go to a proper tattoo and piercing place.Yes. Take your sweet baby to get their ears pierced at a tattoo place to get it done by someone who is tatted and pierced from head to toe. These people know how to do piercing properly and honestly care about their clients.I ended up with a crooked piercing and keloids because I was dumb at 16 and got it done at Claire's. To this day, because the piercing was done so poorly, it constantly gets infected.Years later I got new piercing done at a proper tattoo and piercing place. No problems healing. No problems with scars. Night and day difference.But hey. If you want super cheap jewellery that may or may not contain lead and most likely contains nickle, then shop to your heart's content. But they have cute headbands and hair clips :D

We have a very awful experience with Claire's at 8th street store. Their Manager behaved very rudely with us. We will never recommend or go back again.We went Claire's store for ear piercing for my daughter. We bought a real diamond earrings from them. After ear piercing, when we come home, we realized that one of the earrings was not shining, so we went back to the Claire's store, during that time their executive told us she will exchange earrings as it is manufacturing defect; but, we have to come back after four weeks so healing done properly in the ears.After four weeks we went back to the Claire's store for exchange of earrings, now their Manager denied for exchange or refund for the earrings. She behaved very rudely with us.Most importantly she touched my daughter without sanitizing her hands. She do not have even a basic sense.She threatened me to call security.Very bad customer service, poor quality products, no company policy.We did not expect this from such a reputable organization like Claire's.
