TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

The staff here were friendly. However, it's important for counter to be knowledgeable enough to inform the customer if they are going to be charged for a task. I transfered money out of E premium at the counter, because I trusted them to explain to me which steps to take to avoid charging, or at the very least, inform and ask for permission.While I was surprised by the fee and called customer service this morning, they were confused on how to avoid charging and gave me a couple contradicting answers as well.On the same day of visit, the other staff also told me a wrong information from the paper I signed when I asked question.Still love this account and TD and don't mind TD trying to earn money from customers, just please have more knowledge staffs for customers to trust.

Never ever bank with TD bank. They dont care for your money and your money is not safe in TD bank. Back in Januray 2023, someone stole/ somehow got hold of my cheques, wrote a number on them , simply wrote my name (spelled my name , not my signature style) went to a bank branch , deposited the cheque , the bank cleared the cheque without verifying my signature and the person managed to withdraw a sum of money. As soon as i realised that it was a fraudulent withdrawal, i approached this burnaby branch, they closed my account and opened a new one. However , their fraud team did their investigation and blamed me for the mistake telling me that i am supposed to take care of my cheques. They completely ignored the golden truth that banks are supposed to macth signature they have on file before clearing any cheque. While , i agree that account holders are supposed to take care of cheques but ultimately banks are the one who have to ensure the signatures are matched before clearing the cheque. The agent at bank told me that banks dont always match signatures in case of small amounts....like that is so pathetic and ignorant of their duties. my money was just gone. I would like to advise the bank that amount should not matter -big or small is subjective and they are supposed to verify signatures regardless. Even in developing countries like Thailand and India, banks verify signatures - Its your one and only job while clearing cheques. Also, they take 1 month to send new credit cards and dont increase withdrawal limits for 1 day when i needed urgent cash . Very soon ill close my td bank account.

This branch is very far from my house but still I always prefer to go to this branch only because it has very good staff . William is one the best advisers. He is very helpful, polite and honest . I really appreciate his service and behaviour towards his customers .

I had a great experience with TD Canada Trust when I needed to sort out some of my bank card issues. I need to retrieve my card's PIN and password, and change the phone number associated with my bank account. The staff at TD Canada Trust are very friendly and always ready to help customers. They solved all my problems quickly and efficiently. They walked me through the process of getting my card's PIN and password, and took the necessary steps to change my phone number in their system. I am very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of TD Canada Trust. They gave helpful solutions and helped me to solve all my problems in the shortest time possible

Never had a problem with this bank and it is not my branch. I was served nicely, everybody was nice and courteous and in full covid people were stressed. Prefer this branch to my branch.

The financial planning service seemed good at the beginning, until things started to go wrong.The worst part is the Planner being ignorant for incorrect account changes. The financial planners have too much authority, when it comes to making account changes (buy / sell / liquidate), they can make such changes with a simple phone call or in-person meeting without client's signature and written confirmation, leaving no trace of what the Planner has done. Such convenience" can become very costly to the clients.Senior retirees had felt being sales-pitched by the Planner to purchase mutual funds on multiple meetings with the Planner

Guard tells me to to wait for the advisor since they'll go to me. Ended up burning 15 minutes of our 30-min appointment because they just sat in their office while I was told to wait by the lobby.

Very late review post but I just would like to say thank you to Sion for going above and beyond in making sure I was ready for my overseas trip. He was knowledgeable in his work and was genuinely helpful and patient in processing my application expeditiously despite the tech system difficulties that day.

I applied for a pre-mortgage more than a month ago and after multiple emails exchanged I still waiting for the answer.No one need a bank like this. The world is moving faster than ever and this bank can only make you loose money.
