Ben helped me explore my financing options when I wanted to pull equity out of my current condo to purchase a pre-construction property. Financial matters are admittedly not my forte, but I felt comfortable that Ben was exploring the options with my unique financial situation and goals in mind. Ben did an excellent job assisting my wife and I with our mortgage re-financing. Easy to work with, super responsive, and worked hard to get us the best rate and terms. He saw the transaction through from beginning to end and kept us informed throughout the process. I liked how no detail was too small for his attention. He went above and beyond in explaining our various options and their financial impacts: he prepared easy to read financial pro forma spreadsheets while outlining our scenarios under each of the various mortgage options (he has a UBC Commerce degree and it shows!). He crafted these spreadsheets in a manner that allowed my wife and I to manipulate the numbers at home to see the impact of different options, allowing us to discuss amongst ourselves, and then turn to Ben with our questions to make a decision.
