Kozy Nest Restaurant
This is a wonderful spot for a comforting breakfast. The dining area is definitely kozy and that adds to the charm. When the whole place is just filled with joy and laughter, you know the kitchen and waitstaff are on point. I can easily recommend the Benny, it was perfectly soft poached as ordered and the crispy english muffin underneath was delicious as the yolk and hollandaise worked to soften it. Seriously good breakfast, wonderful people and a beautiful little spot. Best breakfast experience I've had in a couple of years now.

They have a good Sunday breakfast. Their shredded hashbrowns are very tasty. Good place to go. Sunday they stop taking orders at 1:00PM. Worth getting up a little early. Good little local restaurant in the heart of Orleans.

Pros:+ Great food+ Great service & friendly staff+ Cheaper than most breakfast places out thereCons:- Limited seating, so you may have to lineup for a bit before you get a table.Overall: Get there early to get a seat (especially on the weekend). Definitely one of my favourite breakfast spots in Ottawa though!

This is a nice small breakfast place that keeps things moving from kitchen to table. The serving staff is great and nice to chat with. Breakfast has always hit the spot here, and my last visit was no different.When morning comes too early for me, Cozy Nest is always there to help me out.

Small and Kozy!! Approximately 20 tables/booths. Friendly immediate service. Every table is occupied. Coffee came immediately. After 4 minutes, we placed out order. It took exactly 7minutes and 13 seconds for our breakfasts to arrive. (I actually used a stopwatch to time it) I am impressed. It was a good breakfast, not outstanding. AND coffee IS included in the breakfast price. Yay! There is a waiting queue, a clear sign of a good solid breakfast at a reasonable price with super efficient and friendly service. Kids menu and highchairs. One ladies room, one men's room. Good coffee. Cash and debit only, no credit cards. Overall impression, impressed with organization and speed. It was tasty enough to lure me back again, for sure. I do recommend you check this Kozy breakfast nook. #localguide

Food was great and service was even better. Christine was our server, but all of the staff were very attentive. I got the chicken and waffles, which was delicious! My brother had the eggs benedict with spinach. Says it’s the best one he’s every had, and we’ve had SO many egg bennys lol. Definitely recommend this place! Can’t wait to go back and try the hash brow; apparently it’s to die for.

It's like having a family breakfast. Real food I had the eggs benedict with hash browns and I was in my glory. It is the most perfectly prepared eggs benedict I have ever eaten. Fluffy yet crisp English muffin,ham that melted in your mouth and the eggs overloaded with yolk. The hollandaise sauce was oh so very smooth. Perfection.

When we were seated, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our orders quickly. The food didn’t take long to arrive and we were surprised at the portions, especially with my friends’ pancakes that were probably 15 cm in diameter! I think it’s hard to go wrong with breakfast items, so it’s the small things like the staff being diligent with coffee and hot water refills, the washrooms being clean, and my French toast and toast not being burnt that make this experience worth 5 stars.

We need more places like this. Comfort food that is reasonably priced and served by people who understand customer service. One thing that I would have liked to see is real maple syrup served with my waffles. I would have gladly paid extra for it.
