A really great wildlife recovery centre! When we were there, there were 3 bear cubs being rehabilitated that we could see through a bear camera. We also got to see maybe 7 or so eagles (bald and golden) flying as they are being rehabilitated, it was so cool to be so close and really get to appreciate their wingspan! They also have lots of birds and one beautiful black bear that are permanent residents so we could get a better look at them! They had lots of great information about them all, and lots of great volunteers/employees that seemed super passionate about helping all their animals as best as they could! We ended up spending almost 2 hours here, it was all just so interesting! Would recommend!

Great place to learn about local wildlife and see some beautiful animals that cannot be safely released to the wild.

We absolutely love going to this wildlife center. We usually go 2-3 times a year just to walk around and enjoy the scenery and animals. The staff are always friendly and love passing on their knowledge to anyone who asks. We were fortunate enough to catch one of the bear handlers feeding Rae the last time we were there, and she was super sweet. Honestly, it's worth the drive out and visit. Military and Veterans receive free admission as well. The photo I posted is of Blizzard, one of their Ravens.

Stopped by on the way back from Courtenay. Very impressed with the size of the centre and the variety of displays. A great place to bring kids. Lots of education displays, birds to see and space to explore including some interesting rock gardens, native plants and magic stones. Well maintained with plenty of places to just sit and relax. We really enjoyed our visit.

Amazing place with rescued Wildlife including bears owls, lots of eagles and even a white raven! . Great place to spend some time learning about wildlife for both adults and kids. Kids especially have a lot of fun on the 8th acre land that also includes a nature walk and a pond with rescued Turtles and Koi fish. A small picnic table can be really helpful during summer. Nice and friendly staff and affordable prices.

This was a wonderful experience! I was in town and stumbled upon this beautiful Wildlife Recovery centre and so grateful I did. This is a non-profit facility for injured and orphaned wildlife. Highly recommend visiting here and supporting this cause. Great staff, easy access for wheelchairs, family oriented, well kept and was informative and educational. What a cool experience to get up close to an eagle and more. There’s a lot of work that clearly goes into a facility like this. Well done and thank you to all staff and volunteers.

Such a beautiful refuge for these injured and imprinted animals. Not only are the enclosures so well done and suited to each animal, but it's a beautiful, dreamy place with a forested nature trail, pond, rock garden, and flower garden. Lovely place to visit and very reasonable price to visit.

Great experience, very informative. Between this place and the Raptors, I would want to move so I could volunteer to work at both, assuming I could ever retire to do so.
