The Loft School Of Art and Dance

We signed up our son for classes with this school as he has special needs and it was highly recommended for kids like him. They even tout on their website their philosophy of inclusion and that they foster a stress free and nurturing environment. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and our family health, he only truly started attending in February. After 4 classes in, I receive an email from the owner informing me that he is no longer welcome as he is not “a good fit” for the class. Our son is very energetic and loves to dance and play and they just couldn’t handle that. If your child is expressive, do not consider this school! If your child doesn’t fit their mold of what their ideal student should be, don’t bother signing him/her up at this school! Disgraceful!

Wonderful gem of a dance school! Our daughter loves her classes and the end of year show is very professional. I just wish we found The Loft sooner!

The Loft School of Art and Dance is without a doubt the best dance school in the city. Very welcoming and inclusive to all. No judgement, no expensive costumes just pure enjoyment. It has a great vibe and infectious energy about it, which trickles down from the owner Miss Deborah..awesome lady.
