Northgate Village

Good wine selection. Also lots of chilled products.

Good spot for multitude of on point services/products such as: GoodLife gym, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save-On Foods, TD Bank, Tim Hortons, a couple of dentists offices, physio, full government liquor store. Best of all, 2 levels of FREE underground parking. An option to park out front at the meters.Lougheed Mall is literally next door (at this time the condos are still in progress of being built), along with Walmart. Across the street from Northgate you'll find a plaza that has 4 different Asian food options, a Persian/Mediterranean market, and a Tae Kwon Do studio amongst a few other stores.Northgate is pretty central to alot of new builds and is about a 5-7min walk from Lougheed SkyTrain/Bus loop station. The is active security on site and they do frequent patrols throughout the whole Northgate Village. Their are elevators going to all levels, as well as stairs. There's a movator going from P1 to the main floor.Please be aware that the shopping carts from Save-On have a vicinity" lock on them. Meaning as soon as you level Northgate it will lock up

The Save On here is secretly the best grocery store i've been to in the area. It never feels busy or full and if you have a save on card the prices are on the cheaper end of stores. The only reason i wouldn't recommend it is I don't want to many people to start going and take up the free parking

A good example of 1990 strip mall. This place is fairly well maintained and clean.

It's a great plaza. Everything you need in one area, such as a coffee shop, grocery store, 24 hour gym, pharmacy, bank and liquor store.Note: I may be a little biased, as Northgate Village is across the street from my home ;)

The underground parking spaces are very narrow. I'm very tired of door dings. However, it's well lit and good informational signage. Also, EXCELLENT sound proofing to keep the car noise to a minimum.Overall, clean around the parking area, but there needs to be more power washing and scrubbing in the stairwell. It usually smells like somebody uses it as a urinal or toilet on a daily basis.

Has the essentials for a quick run in errands (Canada post, Save on foods, BC liquer ......)

Good grocery and pharmacy and Tim Hortons place to spend a few hours throughout. Although BC liquor is there, I didn't see any drunks around, unlike the same store in Vancouver.

We all have places we enjoy going to for services, shopping or entertainment. Normally going to a dentist would never be on such a list . Dr. Lee and his staff do such a great job with everything they do I would put them on my list . Most importantly Dr. Lee makes sure you are comfortable and have no pain. I found Dr. Lee because my old dentist now retired had referred me to him a couple times. He did this because he felt i would be in better hands for what needed to be done. To me that was the best recommendation I could get.A few Doctors are just better at what they do and this was a testament to that. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Lee as my dentist. 5 stars.
