What an unpleasant experience that happened to me today (sunday afternoon) this super market where I sometimes go to buy some of the few things they sell that are not close to their expiration date, as is normal in this place of vegetables in poor condition. When trying to pay for some simple avocados that I took from the shelves that are outside, the manager on duty asked me if by any chance I had taken them from another shelf inside, to which I replied that no, these were in outside, and trying to humiliate me as if I was trying to commit a fraud to his humble establishment, his sarcasm, his way of humiliating me, his questioning of my integrity, for some stupid dollar avocados, made me decide never to return to that place where I had been a customer for years, they should better watch the quality of their products since many times they sell things that are about to decompose and they are not really cheap, I only go there for the location since I live just a few meters away . There are more stores in the area with better quality and attention.

When I want to buy cheap produce or discover a veggie or fruit I haven't tried but don't want to spend much I go to Polo. You'd be surprised at the number of items you can buy for cheap. Of course your have to have the time to pick and choose the produce because not everything is good quality (depending on the item a lot are overly ripe or wilting etc. that's why they are cheap). There are fun surprises often though - cheap but good quality. Two weeks ago I bought 4 Pieces of really great dragon fruit for $1)each. On that same trip I got a bag of class B potatoes for $2 (10lbs) and a pack of bitter melon for $1!

Owner is not good they are cheating with me they don't give my money $47000 I request to everyone beware this store

The new owners have made great improvements to the store so far. Way better than before. They said that more changes will be coming so looking forward to them.

Good value, sometimes vegetables not very fresh

Nice Indian grocery store on Main st. I bought an Indian snack from there but its quality was not that good. Other than that it appeared good for daily needs.

Since the new management has taken over the entire experience of the store as been remarkably good. The fresh fruits, vegetables, and almost all the groceries range covered is making it one stop for all the daily needs

Polo Market has the best prices on produce that I’ve been able to find in Vancouver. There price on peppers in particular are less than half of the cost of superstore’s. the only downside of Polo’s is that enough people shop there that their higher quality produce is usually there for only a few days after each delivery. This means that once in every 4/5 trips there you can’t snag as much produce as you would like. They further adjust the prices to make them a better deal. I would highly recommend swinging by Polo frequently over the summer to take advantage of the amazing deals that let you get substantially more veggies in your diet for a fraction of the price elsewhere!

Popped by on the way home, I haven't been there in a long time. Checked it out for a bit, I heard that they have some mexican foods which they do but not much. Much more east indian foods as the owner & or manager is east indian. I picked up some frozen jalapeno poppers n corn kebabs made by Nanak Foods in Surrey. Looking forward to try them.
