Do not enrol your child in this program. It’s horrific, dangerous unsanctioned hockey in an unsafe environment. Listen to the warnings! This is everything BC Hockey warns about and much more. There’s 15 better options in the Okanagan, including Tier 2 hockey.Teams are filled with anyone who will pay the owner and the team quality is extremely poor (pay to play). Promised a 12 team league, 7 folded before the season.This is not an elite hockey development or a safe child development program. The education is horrific and kids play video games instead of studying. There’s 1 toilet for 70 people. There is minimal education (school) and kids are treated like cattle and fed dog food on road trips.Okanagan HC is “safe sport” and “respect group’s” biggest nightmare. Zero policy and no conduct oversight. There is no protection for your child in this program and all decisions are at the owners discretion.Don’t do it!!
