Szechuan Paramount Restaurant
First time trying Szechuan Paramount. Food was fresh and portion size was great. Chicken balls were excellent mostly all chicken. Very nice. Only issue was the szechuan beef which was not spicy at all. Color and flavor seemed like ginger beef which was a bit disappointing. Tasted good though, thick pieces and not dried out but not szechaun spicy. Overall a good place.

So gross beef and broccoli had no sauce or flavour, or spice, or sauce; just grey tasteless meat. One tiny piece of chicken in the chicken fried rice, and it also had no flavour, hard rice. Good meat in the chicken balls but, the batter was rock hard. No taste to the Szechuen beef .. absolutely gross.. I couldn’t even eat it.

dinner buffet at $20.99buffet not recommendedquality of dishes below averagemy review of the following dishes:hot and sour soup taste good however it's chicken pieces and no shrimps and bbq pork slices at all. just big chunks of tofu.the wonton soup broth taste good however the wonton itself is just plain pork and no other ingredients in the soupthe spring rolls are hollow, miniscule ingredient of vegetablesthe onion cake doesn't taste like one.the stir fried vegetables doesn't taste freshbeef with black bean sauce is too saltydry ribs - meat were too dry, taste like left over from yesterdaybattered squid rings are salty toofried shrimps taste goodfried mushrooms were half cookedfried egg noodles is too greasy and just plain noodles hardly no other ingredientssame with Shanghai noodles, just noodles and hardly any vegetables nor meatsweet and sour fish is soggy with the saucechicken fried rice has been left too long, too drynot bad selection of mini dessertsNote: I got here at 7pm and none of the dishes were refilled so none of them tasted fresh.I find it pricey considering the quality of dishes are below average.friendly and attentive staff

Szechuan Paramount is my go-to restaurant for ordering Chinese take out. The portions and quality have been fantastic with every order. Every time I've visited, the staff have been so wonderful.

My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant anywhere in the Edmonton area. I've been ordering from there since 2001 or so. Always delicious and I love that they have multiple locations. I'll easily drive 30mins to pick it up. Here are my favorites: dry ribs, honey garlic chicken, Szechuan beef, chop Suey and greens. The one or two bad reviews on here must have been an off-night as I've never had a poor meal in the well over 100 I've had from this tasty place.

Szechuan Paramount Restaurant
We have been order from the same place for over 10 yrs. Many people I know said to try here, so we did! It was fantastically delicious, good price and portions!! The lady who took our order was a delight and so kind! We will definitely order from here again!!! Thank you guys for not being a let down! I’d also like to add that anyone who has had bad reviews about this place needs to try it again.

Very Disappointing! We have been coming here for over 30 years. The buffet used to be so good and we spent various special occasions having supper here for the buffet supper. I’m basing this review off the historical buffet being 5 stars. The takeout was never quite as good as the buffet but I’d still have rated it 4 stars even, The takeout is nowhere near what the buffet used to be now. If you’re expecting the same quality then you will be disappointed. Szechuan beef was pretty plain. The beef and greens had watery beef and the veggies were not great.I don’t typically like leaving low reviews but SP you need to bring back your food quality to where it used to be and where long time returning customers remember :( Maybe this is the problem when you expand to multiple locations but this is still the original place!!

This is probably my worst meal so far in 2022, I wanted to try something new and I can say I totally regret doing so , the food was really really bad , the sauce and everything, I regret ordering this and never will I order from this restaurant again, ever ever

Szechuan Paramount Restaurant
this has been my family's go to place for chinese food since i was a small child, i'm 27 now. we've celebrated my graduation with food from here, countless birthdays. my grandma had this as her birthday dinner today and it was good as always. portions are always so large we often share leftovers with extended family and friends. food was warm upon pick up. tasted good. will always go back.

Always my go to place ❤️ I kept getting dissapointed by other places for Chinese food, never had a bad experience here, and the staff is always so sweet and amazing when it comes to fixing any mix ups (which we rarely have!). Always recommend this place to my friends too!
